Sufjan Steven's very cool cover of the lesser-known Beatles song, "What Goes On"

"Sometimes the best things in life are a hot girl and a cold beer."

That was an awesome performance, thanks for posting it.  I am so glad that ya'll post in this thread, is nice to hear different interpretations of songs, how the bands put their own twist on it.  Love ya'll!

Cool cover Corey. That is one of my fave Prince songs. I have an unreleased cut from Prince that has a "we taped this while just jamming" sound to it that is just a stripped down cut. Wish I could find a internet copy of it that I could post.

Bon Jovi covered Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Back In Town" and i love that song. Poison covered KISS' "Rock And Roll All Nite". Another favorite is Queen's "We Will Rock You" covered by Warrant. Aerosmith covered The Doors' "Love Me Two Times".

Much of the Cream catalog consists of cover tunes: Spoonful, Rollin' and Tumblin',
I'm So Glad, Sitting on Top of the World, and, perhaps their most famous song, their live cover of "Crossroads":

All true but the Tales of the Brave Ulysses had lyrics by an Australian painter Martin Sharp who was also one of the original Oz magazine crew who were charged with indecency offences in the late sixties and early seventies.
