I'm sure that this has been posted before but I like this cover and well, it just came on the radio. Plus it has a great video to go with it

Hoping this doesn't get deleted.  She has an incredible voice and actually I like her singing this better than Lana.

My secretary was playing some of her songs one day, I yelled in to the other office that the singer had a great voice.   Blew me away when she responded that she was a 14 year old.   Great post.

Why would it get deleted?

Picked up a few new CD's last night. One of them was the new Sixx A.M. album Modern Vintage. Now I love Sixx A.M. already and the CD sounds great but while driving home last night from getting my son I had the disk in and this song came on. WHAT, a cover tune? OK, give it a listen.......DAMN, does this sound good.

OK, I made it to page 15 today. I replaced any dead link that contained the song title along with the band. Some members took a hit on counts including me. Anything where there was just a dead youtube link with no info was deleted. I also cleaned up some posts that were comments towards a past post that still had the video included. I didn't touch the words, just removed the video to let more show farther down the page. I'll work on the rest over the next few weeks if I get a chance

Always liked the original song and well, this cover is getting a lot of play in the car since the new POP Goes Punk album came out on Tuesday.  And any video with strip clubs has to at least get one view, right?  And I loved the Metallica guitar riff in this also.

A bit rocked up cover of a big hit. And in keeping with the B rule, I pretty much feel this is a good "We own this shit" cover. Stays true to the original but punked up a bit to give it a Youth In Revolt twist to it.

If for nothing, you need to watch the last 14 seconds of the video for a good laugh
