"Hide Your Heart" KISS (Bonnie Tyler cover also done by Ace Frehley, Molly Hatchet, and Robin Beck)
What's also funny is that Paul Stanley co-wrote it, but Bonnie did it first, then Molly Hatchet, then Ace, then KISS, then Robin Beck.

Celion Dion covered the late Laura Branigan's "Power Of Love".

She also covered ACDC's "You shook me all night long"

Judas Priest - Diamonds and Rust

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLDazyvMMGw

A joan Baez cover

From Wiki

The song was later covered with edited lyrics by Judas Priest for the album Sin After Sin. It was originally recorded a year earlier for Sad Wings of Destiny but not included on the album- and this early version appears on The Best of Judas Priest, Hero, Hero, as well as some remasters of their first album, Rocka Rolla. A live version of the song is on Unleashed in the East. The song remains a staple of Judas Priest live concert performances. In recent years, Priest have been performing a mostly-acoustic version of the song that is more similar to the original than the rock version on their recorded albums.

Ghost-Here comes the sun

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OUWgxu7xng

Ghost is a Swedish heavy metal band formed 2008. The band was hyped up in 2010 partly because of members' choice to appear behind the masks without giving their identities. The group claims to be sent by the devil to the commercially viable rock collecting souls for him. The debut "Opus Eponymous" was nominated for a Grammy in 2011 in the category hard rock.
Todays tune ”Here Comes The Sun” (Beatles cover) is the Bonus track from the album ”Opus Eponymous”

Liquid Metal on XM (Know Your Roots) is running a metal bands covers show today. Been playing some great covers that I have never heard before along with others I have (see above post from Priest)

Faith No More has done different covers over the years including some great Black Sabbath stuff. This is a cool instrumental of Midnight Cowboy with the standard Faith No More feel to it.

I've heard about this guys a lot on That Metal Show and checked out some of their videos on youtube and in one interview they let slip the next band they want to cover is ABBA.

Ghost recently chatted with Themetalcircus.com and revealed that they have a cover of ABBA‘s “I’m A Marionette” demoed. A proper studio version of the song is expected to be recorded during the sessions for the bands next album, for which it will likely serve as a b-side or bonus track.

Had a feeling this was MM's old guitar player

John 5
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_5_(guitarist)
John William Lowery (born July 31, 1971), best known by the stage name John 5, is an American guitarist. His stage name was bestowed on him in 1998 when he left David Lee Roth and joined the industrial metal group Marilyn Manson as their guitarist, taking over from Zim Zum. Still going by the name "John 5," Lowery has since become the guitarist for Rob Zombie.

He is also a solo artist having recorded six guitar albums: Vertigo (2004), Songs for Sanity (2005), The Devil Knows My Name (2007), Requiem (2008), The Art of Malice (2010) and God Told Me To (2012), as well as a remix album, Remixploitation (2009). He also works as a staff writer for Chrysalis Records, working with artists such as Matt Ball, Avril Lavigne, Rob Halford, k.d. lang, Garbage, Meat Loaf, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, FeFe Dobson and has written and recorded with southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I like this cover better than the original.

Motorhead, "God Save the Queen," studio and live versions:

"Sometimes the best things in life are a hot girl and a cold beer."
