yes, very sad.  I never saw his early films, and will look into viewing a few of them now.

Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

I just saw on the news that Leslie Nielson has died. He was a very funny man. I hope that in his last days on this earth, that he didn't suffer.
