Today President Biden announced he's withdrawing from the race. He's throwing his support to his VP, Kamala Harris.
This sets the stage for a chance of having our first woman president.
With all the anti women attacks by Republicans I would hope this will create a strong voting block for VP Harris. The outcome of this election is vital for women's rights.
Msslave I truly love you as a friend, brother and sort of mentor, but I have to disagree with you there. There is no "Anti-woman" sentiment in the republican party. The Roe v. Wade issue was just returned to the states to choose as it should have been. Even Justice RBG wrote that it was bad law, taking away the autonomy of the states right to vote on something. It is a risk of having a system like ours where things can be voted on or out. I support abortion in the extreme cases of rape, incest, and loss of viability or if during the gestation it is determined that it will not survive and life of the mother. I do not support abortion for those who neglect to due their due diligence in protecting themselves. To me it shows a very distinct and dangerously neglectful lack of responsibility to get rid of something just because you could not or did not want to take a second longer to prepare yourself for sex.
You speak of attacks on women, and yet you tip toe around the fact that Title IX is being ripped to shreds. I have no problem with the Trans community, I have a problem with the hard fought rights of natural born women to have their own sports, and their own areas being forced to share it with biological men. I believe if a trans person wants to change out in a ladies locker room, get the surgery. I hold no animosity to the Trans community in whole. I hold animosity towards the individuals that forced my wife and daughters to have to drive home after a work out to shower and change because of the dangly bits on full display making them naturally and rightfully uncomfortable. So if trump and biden are jokes, then America as a whole is the whole damned comedy tour.
