I got first three guesses wrong, and on my last chance I just randomly hit 4 words.   I got it right.  Then failed on next turn.

I've failed the last 4 games on this.   And only guessed two colors correct out of those games.

I'm guessing they pic 3 groups of 5 words that can fit into a category, and then pull some weird idea out of their butts that connects one word from each group and color it purple

I get so frustrated when I'm told I'm one away. So, which one is wrong and has to go and what's fits in instead.

I just start guessing until my 4 chances are up.

I do that a lot. Sometimes I have an alternative to the last one I pick so I remove the first guess and put in the second, and get the same 'one away'.

I think Shiela is onto something with the 3 groups of 5.

Today's yellow group is a perfect example, and the four the author put together were not the most logical of the five that could fit.

Three of today's purple group jumped out at me and I took a stab at the fourth, which turned out to be a lucky guess. First time I've gotten purple group before any of the others.

I think they should stop being so clever. Like you said, I think they make three groups and then look for a fourth “bullshit group” that has three elements of each of the first three groups.
