Never heard of the app, but knew all about the spritz.  Many years ago Mrs Obi and I were in Italy and everybody was drinking this orange coloured drink, looked great in the sunshine, asked what it was
and ordered a couple.  Found it horribly bitter and have never been slow in our condemnation of it now being everywhere in the UK. Fast forward to this year and finally discovered that you are supposed to put prosecco in it, not just tonic water.  :emot_laughing:

I solved the 10/01/2023 New York Times Mini Crossword in 2:28!

I did not know what major league sport begins its playoffs soon. Shame on me.

Only reason I know is because our local radio station DJs wont shut the [firetruck] up about the states team making the playoffs

Indeed. Both the Rangers and Astros are in the playoffs. One or the other will be playing the Twins in Minnesota, depending on the outcome of today's games.

If they both win or lose today, the Rangers will win the division and Houston will play the Twins.

If the Rangers lose and the Astros win, Houston wins the division because it owns the tiebreaker, and the Rangers will get to play the Twins.

Minnesota gets home field advantage, even though both Texas teams have better records.

Theoretically, it is possible that Toronto will be the team going to Minnesota, but I'm not even going to try and explain that one. If that were to happen, one of the Texas teams would go to Tampa Bay.
