Allegedly all 45,000 "limited" NFT cards are sold out already.
Though some people seem to have problems to get theirs. (not that they deserve any pity  :emot_laughing:)

That $4.5 million. Not a bad day’s pay.

Holy shit. Much of my family is right wing and includes a couple of loyal Trumpster Fires, but I'm not aware that even any of them are interested in this. Takes a special kind of Koolaid to get someone to buy this garbage.

Trump gave two speeches today alleging that Biden has brought us to “the verge of World War III” and announcing that he will broker a peace deal with Russia the same day he is re-elected President. If you are familiar with the Manchurian Candidate, Trump is one. Just astounding to see a full blown Russian operative was in the White House. But that is the sorry state of American politics.

The question now is whether Nikki Hailey sucks ... I'm game if she is.

To everyone who thinks the world is on fire, and that the sanctity of the office of President  has been destroyed, and (most amusingly) that America will become a “banana republic,” I can only reply.

I don’t think this is an attack on the presidency. This is an attack on a person who was wholly unqualified to be president in the first place. A third tier reality show star, a draft dodging, tax evading, pussy grabber, known for his failed businesses and fraudulent online university.

America won’t become a banana republic, we’ve been a banana republic for a long time. Just ask any intelligent person who lives somewhere other than America.

Finally, I don’t give a shit about Stormy Daniels; I don’t give a shit about what Trump has to say about it. Let’s just move this clown off the stage, and pray to God that we will never ever elect such a vile individual to our most elite office again.

What did you think of the charges? I heard it explained that if they are felony counts rather than misdemeanors, the DA will have to prove the document forging/tampering was done to conceal another crime, but paying people off to keep quiet isn't inherently a crime. I might be missing something, because I haven't paid too much attention, with all the bleating from the local Trumpists

From what I heard from several news outlets is that it was some sort of fraudulent business transaction. Paying hush money from personal funds is not exactly a crime, but hiding it among business deals is a misdemeanor. The felony part comes in with the idea that they were planning more payments or hide further crimes. This one charge alone would have him in prison 1-4 years.

Not too sure of all the 34 felonies he's being charged with but that is the first one they were talking about.

The only reason people are thinking this is a political agenda is because trump and his cronies are saying it's political. They'll sit there and go but but but Hunter Biden, and use that as a means to suggest political motives

I really dont care if it is political or not. Trump needs to be locked up. I've said it before, trump is a modern day snake oil salesman and way too many people are buying into it.

The day after the Trump indictment a message arrived (no joke) from the government of El Salvador: "US, Don't lecture us about dictatorships and poor government."

Democrats like to talk about precedents. How about this one-as soon as ol Joe leaves office he and Hunter are indicted for all that crap on the laptop. Then, whomever replaces Joe, he/she is indicted on whatever BS can be dreamed up and so on. America used to be greater than that. I had a Joe supporter try to justify the indictment, actually using the phrase: "Rule of law." Okay, fine, Bill Clinton is a known rapist and he's out walking free. Obama lied about a great many things, including healthcare and Afghanistan. I'm not a fan of the Bush's, let's indict them too.

This guy took 4 Derferments to avoid serving in Vietnam.

This clown has never risked one hair on his head in the service of USA.

A coward knows he is coward. Rather than serve his country, a coward runs off to Canada or some other country to avoid service.

Donald Trump was no coward. He had the ability to serve but refused to do so. He decided to stay in the country and use legal shenanigans to weasel his way out of serving.
This bastard is a snake oil salesman, who holds his countrymen in contempt. This clown benefits from the security provided to him by the patriotism of his kinsmen; yet, sold them out, when he had a 4-year opportunity to do something for his country.

Did he build the wall, he promised? No!!!!!
Did he keep the muslims out of USA? No!!!!!
Did he negotiate peace with Russia and by so doing prevent the invasion of Ukraine? No!!!!!!!!

Fuck this guy!!!!! For real!!!!

A jury took only three hours to find Trump guilty and to award the woman who said he raped her five million dollars. That could make a small dent in his pocketbooks.

The woman E. Jean Carroll, claimed Trump raped her in a department store dressing room in 1996. The jury was split and voted to convict on a lesser charge of sexual abuse rather than rape. The deliberations only took three hours.

Trump still faces several other criminal charges. Gonna be hard to campaign between court appearances and sitting in jail.

From Politico:

What we covered here:

Special counsel John Durham concluded that the FBI should never have launched a full investigation into connections between Donald Trump's campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, according to a report compiled over three years by the Trump-administration appointee.

Durham’s 300-plus page report also states that the FBI used “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence,” to launch the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation and used a different standard when weighing concerns about alleged election interference regarding Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Durham did not, however, recommend any new charges against individuals.

Key things to know about special counsel John Durham’s report on the FBI’s Russia-Trump probe
From CNN's Zachary Cohen

Special counsel John Durham released his final report on Monday in which he casts doubt about the FBI’s decision to launch a full investigation into connections between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

Here are the takeaways from the special counsel’s report:

Durham finds FBI rushed to investigate Trump: The special counsel’s office “conducted more than 480 interviews,” and “obtained and reviewed more than one million documents consisting of more than six million pages,” while also issuing 190 grand jury subpoenas, according to the report.

The Durham report, however, relies on many public findings — including problems with the investigation that were detailed in a 2019 investigation by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz — to question the bureau’s decision to open a full investigation, one the watchdog found to be legal and unbiased.

And while Durham acknowledges the FBI did have reason to open a preliminary review or investigation, he accuses the bureau of failing to uphold its “important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report.”
Claims FBI had no real evidence of collusion before launching probe: Durham concluded that federal investigators did not have “any actual evidence of collusion” between Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia before launching a yearslong probe into the matter.

That finding was at the core of Durham’s most scathing criticism of the FBI’s decision to launch a full investigation.

Durham knocked the FBI for failing to take several steps before launching the Trump campaign investigations, such as interviewing relevant witnesses, reviewing its own intelligence databases or using “any of the standard analytical tools typically employed by the FBI in evaluating raw intelligence.”

He suggested that if the FBI had taken those steps, it would have found that US intelligence agencies did not have any evidence tying Trump to Russian leadership officials.

FBI failed to corroborate Steele dossier allegations: The report is critical of the Steele dossier, the explosive document that had been used by the FBI to bolster its case for probable cause to secure surveillance warrants against a former Trump campaign adviser.

Crossfire Hurricane investigation “did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations” contained in the controversial Steele dossier, which was used by the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant, Durham found.

Witness testimony exposed the FBI’s overreliance on the dossier as it sought court approval to wiretap a former Trump campaign adviser in 2016. Other FBI officials described rookie mistakes that undercut the bureau’s brief inquiry into a possible Trump-Russia internet backchannel. At closing arguments during one of last year’s trials, Durham told jurors that “the FBI failed” on many occasions.
