How to crack Wordle: 5-letter words to use first

Good tips. I remembered that Wheel of Fortune always gives contestants R, S, L, N, T and a vowel. So I wondered if putting RSLNT as your first word might be a good strategy.

The article has some good suggestions. Today I started with STARE, and identified two letters. STAIN is another suggested starter.

I think there are only two five letter words in the English language that starts with those three letters. Good one though. I think a lot of people are going to lose today. This is also the first time the word was so difficult, I had a clue why people are complaining about NYT now.

If people ask “Oh do you participate on the Wordle sub-Reddit?“ I’ll say “No, I chat about Wordle on my favorite sex board.“ LOL.

Unless I have really good success, I follow up guess #2 with another word that has totally different letters from guess #1, regardless of my first words results

I like to start off with Alien or Stork. Those SRTLN and E are in those. I tried doing just a hunch of letters but it wont let you enter anything that isn't an actual word. That's how I kind of got the last one.
