80 years ago Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese. All US battleships in the Pacific were sunk or badly damaged. Many hundreds of of sailors and soldiers died with others wounded

I still take time each year to remember that terrible day that brought our country into the war that had been going on in Europe and China.

The Japanese had no idea of the hornets nest they stirred up. The industrial might of this country poured out war materials that outmatched the enemies. It was a time nearly all the country came together in a common cause.

I wish our dividend nation would look back on that time and work together to solve our many problems.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

I always observe Pearl Harbor day. Got in trouble with my (former) landlord once because I put out a flag on Pearl Harbor day (she was a Mexican nationalist). Thanks msslave for remembering.
