Best version since Janis Joplin in my opinion (though I really like the Grateful Dead's version too).

I've never heard of these guys till tonight.....A guy on American Idol sang one of their songs.....I was impressed with the old school sound. I don't even know if they are still around but I'm glad I was introduced to them. I think it is pretty good stuff.

I only removed the video to save posting space for others
And Nicole, please do not take this in any way against you posting the video, this is only my personnel feelings towards the state of radio now a days

I feel this video is already played out on mainstream radio. It's an hourly staple on our local rock radio. The album has 4 singles off it and yet when a new one is released all of the others are just thrown to the side for mass play of the new one. Of course when seeing them in concert, the newest single is ALWAYS the closing song.

quality sucks but DAMN, Lizzy looks SO hot!

Barry Mcguire. Eve of Distruction

brought back long ago memories of a night in my frat house (really??) Southern Comfort, Mountain Dew, headphones and eve of destruction on full blast.

left college-first time- and took a vacation to the far east.

nothing's been the same since. must have been the music.   8)

I take no offense.  To be honest, I have never heard Halestorm on commercial radio, only on XM.  Well I hardly ever listen to commercial radio either but radio where I live sucks.

I just love bands led by women who play guitar and not just there as eye candy.  And YES, she is hot.  What do you think of Huntress and The Letter Black?

Oh and by the way its Lzzy not Lizzy! LOL

You know, I've never noticed that it was Lzzy after all this time  :blushing:

I'm not big into commercial radio either and have XM along with the internet feede so I can stream at work each day. Could not live without my XM. And local radio seems to suck just about everywhere. I know that the Flint Saginaw area had some really good rock channels for a long time but the last few times thru I really cold not find them now so not sure if they closed the doors.

I don't think I've heard of the two bands you listed. The names don't sound familiar to me. I also like female lead vocals. I'm the only one in the family that does.
