Not sure what genre this is, just ran across it browsing and liked the sound.  The way he raps is so subtle.

One of the best bands I've ever seen live and such a fantastic songwriter to boot too!

Youtube lets you play your favorites list like a playlist if you want, so I just picked a random page and started from there. This is on at the moment (haha, #630 out of 2,455):

I love that feature on youtube, I have quite a few playlists that I listen to when I'm playing my game.

That was a beautiful song Lurid, might have to add that one to my playlist.  Thanks for posting, would never have heard that if not for you.

Joan Jett....I Wanna Be Your Dog

Great post tiny. Nice to see some Iggy love, even if it's a cover

Thanks coach, she covers that song very well, IMO.  The day I posted that, was one of those yucky cold days we had and I stayed in my ugly old lady jammies that are warm and watched old movies, lol.  Runaways was one of them and after the movie and listened to Joan....wow, I really rambled, my apologies.

Lurid...another slice of heaven for the ears.  You know something?  There is another thread about music through the ages.  Is a very insightful thread, but on one point I strongly disagree, and that is because of technology we have lost quality of music...how could anybody think that after hearing your post is beyond me.

I've had them days where you just don't feel like doing anything.

Agree about music. There is a change in sounds every couple years or so with big changes, it seems, every ten years or so. Yes, the sounds have changed but there is still a lot of great music to be found out there by really good artists. Once you can look past the free public radio that is spoon fed to us all the time, you find that the really good stuff never gets air play.
