Rob Zombie-Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq7u9a4XZyk

The new single sounds pretty good. Rob is headlining the Mayhem tour this year. Too bad the rest of the lineup is not as Strong as last year.

Woo. A thousand times woo. I wish they would just stop fucking around and cut a damn album already! I bought every single, two CDs and the last deluxe vinyl edition. I want, nay, I deserve a new Postal Service album! When I see them at Coachella (front row, my elbows will ensure it), I will be screaming "NEW ALBUM!!!" at the top of my lungs every moment when they are not performing.

Here's a favorite that was not on the original album:

Don't sweat the petty stuff, pet the sweaty stuff.

Was driving with my son the other day when we heard this. I thought Janes Addiction had got back together. They actualy told the band name after the song so when we got home I looked them up. I don't care for any of their other songs but still think this one sounds great, even if it does sound like Janes' Addiction.

Seeing Mia Kirschner grinding it to this song in a schoolgirl outfit just once makes it impossible to visualize anything else.

I had Borders special order the soundtrack CD to Exotica specifically to get this song, and boy was I pissed to find it wasn't there. It's featured so prominently in the film, but I guess Cohen wanted too much money for the rights to put it on the CD.

Still a great soundtrack album, with Mychael Danna's haunting piano reveries and faux Middle Eastern grooves, like a call to prayer at some twisted, heretical temple of flesh. I recommend both the film and the album. Not Atom Egoyan's best, but it's sexy, quietly intense, and has quite a few clever surprises.

but when I'm bad, I'm oh, so bad... alistair.blankley@myscreenandfap.com

My favorite band the past five years, one of my favorite songs. (This is the duo that did the quirky "I love you, oh no" song featured in a Dell computer commercial in '08, & a Sony Ericsson camcorder ad in Europe). Threesomes, orgasms and army fatigues. What more could you ask for in a pop song?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdlR1YAFTkk

Not knowing much German, I naïvely asked a female friend from Germany what the song was about, and after a brief explanation that dritt was the ordinal of drei, so 'third' instead of 'three,' she proceeded to tell me it sounded like the song was about aménage à trois. Knowing she was a perfectly respectable engineer with two small children, I apologized for asking her about such a risqué song. She replied, "Don't worry. We are German. These things do not shock us."

I have an app for that!!   :emot_laughing:

But really, my phone has an app where it listens to about 10 seconds of the song and it tells you all the info and has a link to go on line and buy it. We use it a lot to ID the songs while we're out. Have even used it in stores when they have the canned music playing.

Listened to all of the Warlock albums, a German Metal band from the 80's that featured Doro Pesch on lead vocals.

"All We Are" Warlock
"Fight For Rock" Warlock
