I'm now seriously beginning to feel old. My age is a very sexy number (can you guess?) and I'm retred. But I wrote, or finished, two books. The pandemic effectively shut me out of the world and I realized it driving around and losing my way in very familiar territory.

Life is what happens when you had other plans.

Realizing how many years old the shows I watched as a kid actually are.

Heck, some were re-runs of shows from before I was born, but I'm referring to the ones that actually aired when I was a kid.

I was doing a crossword puzzle this afternoon, and the clue read, "Aid for lost travelers."

I penciled in "map."

The correct answer was "GPS."

We always take maps on field trips: and some fun ones you aren't allowed GPS or phone.
