 President Trump's 'shortlist' includes Judge Barbara Lagoa, daughter of Cuban exiles, and an excellent selection for Nominee to fill the now open SCOTUS seat.

  There are other qualified names for the President's consideration, of course, at least 5 women are being reviewed at this time, with a final decision pending in days.

  Will the spectacle be Democrat Senate Assasins attacking Hispanic Americans during the weeks prior to the November Election; or would one prefer to see Democrat Senator Assasins attacking Roman Catholic Americans beliefs and believers week after week this October 2020.

  Perhaps Democrat Senate Assasins attacking Jewish Americans beliefs and believers?

  Likely not to be an Anarchist, or Marxist, so will sure be contested.

  Such opportunities only come around EVERY TIME for Democrat Leaders that there is a public dialog called Advice & Consent after all...

  Let us see the Flags raised, and the Nominee announced this week.

  Judge Barbara Lagoa received a rousing BiPartisan Senate Vote in her Senate Confirmation Vote in 2019, from the same group of Senators, so her confirmation now should not be a big issue, right?  haha...

I'll admit I'd never heard of Judge Barbara Lagoa until I read about her yesterday, but I'm curious as to why you feel she is "an excellent selection for Nominee to fill the now open SCOTUS seat."

You listed the following qualifications in your post: She's the daughter of Cuban exiles, she's a woman, she's an Hispanic-American, she's Catholic (well, kind of), and she's not an Anarchist or a Marxist.

Do you believe those are sufficient qualifications to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court?

Besides, you left of the most important qualification of all: Her name is Barbara.

  Judge Barbara was confirmed to her present position by this Senate in 2019, 80 - 15 with 5 Democrats not voting. The same bunch who will be asked to Confirm her if Nominated on Saturday.

  We shall see how Democrats and syncophant Media spin it soon.

It seems to me she has not served long enough as a judge in the lower court to be ready to be a Supreme.  We need someone with more experience.
