Yesterday, a young Bald Eagle attacked a woman on Lake Superior's North Shore.

The woman was a guest at a resort and apparently got too close to one of Watcher's young.  The juvenile eagle pounced on the woman. The chef at the resort saw the attack and threw this jacket over the bird.

The woman wasn't injured, but the jacket was ripped to shreds. Authorities think the eagle may have been sick or injured, hence the attack, rather than just flying away.

The big bird did finally fly off before it could be captured. But, not before riding on a sheriff's pickup (video on story site) and perching on a State Trooper's car.


Come on Rick, get your kids under control. :D

What the heck, when I do that I get thrown into the drunk tank for the night, but it looks like the watcher family can get away with everything.  Not fair I tell ya

Hey, what's with all the eagle stories lately?  Anyway, I have taught my children well. That human might have been trying to do some funny stuff with one of my youngsters. That'll teach her to mess with us.

Watcher pictures Shiela in the local drunk tank and thinks of Mayberry and the Andy Griffith show.  ;D ;D

My dad still watches that show on comet or something like that.   Men sitting there singing songs with Otis... that was the drunks name wasn't it?  The guy who let himself in and out?
