One of the strongest voices for civil rights is silent now. John Lewis has died at the age of 80.  Since the 1960s, he's been at the forefront of the Civil Rights movement. A good friend of Martin Luther King Jr. Lewis carried on the fight for equality.  Yes, his voice may be silent, but the legacy he leaves behind will long live after him.  God Bless you John Lewis.

The fight for equality continues with our young generation but may they always remember the men and women who went before them. MLK and others faced outright hostility in their quest for equality.

Things have changed since Selma.  But we still have a long way to go.
