The very same State Supreme Court who is following their Oath, and the Law.
Rule of Law is important, even during a crisis. The US Constitution is to be honored, regardless of any crisis, is what the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled.

A given period was allowed by State Law for Emergency orders by Governor. The Legislature declined an extension of that Emergency Period. It's the LAW.

The same oath the Governor Swore To Uphold, yes?

The Emergency was, some places still may be, a imminent danger to exceed State/Local Hospitals capacity to treat patients. Not any obligation to stop the effects of the Corona Virus, only the danger of the Corona Virus impact on the State and Local Hospitals. Emergency over... so it the ability to give Emergency Orders and expect such to be adhered to without question by U.S. Citizens.

  Stuff Happens... Deal with it!

Meanwhile, next door in Wisconsin, the State Supreme Court tossed out that state's Governor's stay at home plan. Decision came down yesterday on a 4 to 3 vote.

Same state Supreme Court that struck down voting by mail, denied rescheduling the primary, and ordered people to go stand in line during the pandemic to vote.

They always tout the rule of law.  Until the rule of law produces a result they don’t like.  Then the Führer’s Carl Schmidt, William Barr, dismantles the rule of law and turns a blind eye on criminality.  Shit does happen.  November 3rd.  Unless the rule of law is destroyed before then.

Stimulus money safe in the bank. No one is touching it. Much to corporate America and all the politicians dismay. We are not blowing it on junk.

Hopefully it will help pay our vacations to Canada and New York NEXT year.

Sure, spend your stimulus money in another country.  ;D ;D

But you might have more to spend if Pelosi gets her way.

I heard from my foster child today.  They closed the orphanage in Ukraine, and she is sheltering in with relatives.  It’s been almost a month since we last communicated. ”I miss you so much daddy.”  Turn the faucets on, I was bawling like a baby by the end of the call.

You'll never know the joys of a little one wanting a hug just because they missed you even though you were always right there anyway.

I'm not voting for him again. Safe to say.

And here is some of the stupid propoganda Faux news is airing.

Don't worry folks, no one will be required to wear a face mask in the shower.  This is just something that this Douch of Hazzard is using to cause political divisions over being responsible and wearing a facemask while in public.

Last night as we were driving to meet up with friends, went past a long row of signs by the side of the street. They were all pictures of the graduates from the 'burb's high school. As I past all the smiling faces, beaming from each square of cardboard, l felt a lot of sadness. I know these kids will be ok and life will move on, although forever altered. Humans are adaptable.

I think the sight of all those signs, meaning no traditional cap and gown ceremony, brought up a lot of feeling's that have been building up since this started.

Then we got with good friends...well spaced and life was good again.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Vaccine or no, Trump announces we are going “warp speed” forward with the economy, and unveils his new Space Force flag.  So good to know POTUS is watching Star Trek again, during his “me” time (98.9% of waking hours).

Trump can't profit off of him so that's why he never heard of him.

This relates to what's going on.

So at my temp job we always get free shit. Like I get so much Mott's apple juice it's insane. It's also now going as fast as it's coming.

But today we were offered cans of Keystone all natural beef.

About 6 big ones worth about $60! No one wanted it. So CJ said give it to me, I'll donate it to a food pantry. Everyone thought it would be nasty shit. But then I looked it up and apparently it was pretty damn good, like a pot roast in a can. So I thought "CJ doesn't want to cook for the tribe tonight."

So I brought them home and announced we were having that for dinner. I got the dirtiest looks from the kids and the women. My mom was like "Babe, we're not feeding that stuff to the kids." And my daughter was like "have we really gotten to this point, mom?"

But I overruled them all and reminded them that we should be grateful for it. Wifey made her magic mac and cheese, because we can't get potatoes.   And I opened the cans and, yeah, it didn't look great at first but once all the fat melted into juice and the meat got hot the kitchen started smelling like a pot roast had been cooked all day. My 8 didn't want any, because she's trying to not eat animals anymore, but even she was like "that smells really good." Everyone got an equal amount, barely. And I stress barely because this tribe needs more food than the united states army. My sister and her wifey, exhausted and starving from work at the hospital were like "wow, you made pot roast all day? Soooooooooooooo hungry!"  ;D

So long story short the kids murdered their plates. The grown ups cleared them as well. And everyone's opinion of the nasty canned meat completely changed. This stuff was so good that if you're looking to stock up, and meat is scarce, you should consider getting it.

People are too picky on what they eat.

I spent a year eating defac food and MREs.  After that a can of spam rolled in stale bread crumbs and deep fried in month old burnt butter would taste like a 5 star meal cooked by chef Gordon Ramsay.

I was raised by two Depression Era grandmothers who lived by the mantra “waste not, want not.”  They ingrained in me the concept of using what you have, and being grateful for it.  Would meat in a can be my first choice?  Of course not.  Would I turn down meat in a can?  “Think about how many people in the world are going to bed hungry tonight.”  Yes, Nana.  May I have some more?

I feel bad I didn't donate it, but our incomes are in the crapper right now thanks to this shit and the billionaire balloon and now we're not sure we'll ever get our lives back to normal.

I'll probably be taking more than I give for a while.

Don't feel bad for it.  As the saying goes desperate times, calls for desperate measures.  The point of you donating is so that it will help out a needing family.  If yours is the one needing it...
