I love how if I said "I ate pizza" in this thread it would immediately be moved elsewhere, but these jackasses are behaving like brats and it continues without any action at all.

It depends on what kind of pizza.   Black olives.  Nope, moving it!

Remember, threatening or intimidating behaviour is not tolerated.

Find a place that uses Greek kalamata olives.  Those canned cheap black olives don’t do much for me, but I put kalamata olives on every pizza I make:

Chirp - pizzas one buys in the frozen food section of a store are not pizzas. For a good pizza, one has to go to their local pizzeria, and I don't mean Dominos or any other pizza chain.  8)

There are two Italian women and a pro chef in this house. There's no such thing as frozen pizza here.

Not sure because we didn’t get tested but in late February something went through out family. Dry cough and fever. Not saying it was or wasn’t the coronavirus. My oldest boy and I had it the worst. Believe it or not, my wife didn’t get it at all thankfully.

Same.   I had 4 days that were bad a few weeks ago.  Same...I don't know if I had it or not.   I had a fever on Day 1 only.  The next 3 days my joints and muscles ached like never before.  I had post nasal drip.  I would just start sweating at the oddest times.  I was freezing cold at other times.    Headache like I haven't had in some time that felt like my eyes were being pushed out of my head.  I couldn't look up, down, left or right.  I felt like hell.   I hope at some point I can get tested to find out if it was Covid.

Not in my house.   But once I had the fever, I locked up in my room.  It was only after the body aches disappeared that I came within 10 feet of someone.   Food was delivered to my door.   Dan slept in the spare room upstairs and used the bathroom up there.   I wasn't taking chances and my doctor wouldn't have me get tested.  I didn't have a dry cough, no trouble breathing, no fever (except for first day), he just said, "Nope, we aren't allowed to prescribed on, call me if anything worsens."   I still had the post nasal drip a week later that I ended up with a prescription for, but that was it.
I don't know what I had, but my joints hurt like someone was trying to pull me apart.

Jules, you highlight two of the main issues.

1.  How many people got it but don’t know for sure or were asymptomatic.
2.  We need testing to know things like this, and getting it has been a clusterfuck.

On point 2, the governor of my state had his Korean wife negotiating on the phone with Korean companies to get tests (calling in the middle of the night our time).  As a result, 500k tests were bought.

So what are other governors to do if they aren’t married to a Korean woman?  This is where the Trump Administration is supposed to be helping, but they are riddled with incompetence.

The first case of coronavirus was just reported in the U.S.  It’s potentially lethal and not at all refreshing.

The fact that I posted this on 22Jan2020 doesn’t mean I was particularly prescient, but consider that well into March Trump was still calling this a hoax.

We lost 2 months in response time, and the federal response once started so very late has been as I said, a clusterfuck of incompetence.

I spent 32 days in Italy for training.  Wasn't really training at all, as we just worked alongside the MPs already stationed there.  Bought so much wine, my favorite was made of strawberries. Went to a restaurant and the chef would pick the basil out of a potted plant hanging around the patio and tomatoes and onions out of the small garden near the back.  Sat outside and had a beautiful view of the vineyards on the hillsides. As he cooked. Made everything fresh in the stone wood oven. Absolutely amazing. It ruined all pizza for me when I got home.

Wow.   Mind boggling numbers

Senate Passes $484B Relief Bill That Includes $310B More In PPP Loans

The Senate has passed a new $484 billion coronavirus relief package, including more than $300 billion in additional funds for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) designed to bail out small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), according to CNBC.

The plan will now go to the House of Representatives, which is expected to give its approval by Thursday.

President Donald Trump and congressional Democrats agreed to the measure on Tuesday, according to The Washington Post.

Under the terms of the agreement, the measure will provide the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) with another $310 billion for the popular PPP program, which Uncle Sam designed to provide forgiveness loans to SMBs. Congress and Trump originally funded the PPP initiative with $349 billion, but the program ran out of money after just 13 days, and many SMBs got nothing.

In addition to $310 billion for PPP, the new aid package includes a separate $60 billion for emergency SMB grants and loans. The agreement also contains $75 billion for hospitals and $25 billion to fund a new coronavirus testing program.

MJ - The beaches in South Carolina  opened today and the news showed the beaches in North Myrtle Beach crowded. You can sun bathe and Dan can golf.  8)

The little boy across the street had his 4th birthday.  He had a sign with balloons.  His friends came by in a procession of vehicles.  Honked.  Waved.  Passed gifts out the window to his mother.  So bittersweet.  My dog went over and kept him company.

Who knows how may people have been infected. That's why testing is so important.  Those who test positive for the antibodies could donate plasma to save lives.

Also, if we have already hit an infection rate of 80%, we can open the country without fear of overwhelming the hospitals.

Herd imminuity is key to overcoming the virrus.

My co-worker returned to work today.  They would not give him a test but they are fairly certain he had Covid-19. I was worried abot him him because he is morbidly obese and has diabetes, But his case was mild and he reurned to work today.

Nope...Nope...Nope.  Third one failure too.  Now the fourth...not sure if it's a success after nearly 30 years, or if I'm just too old and tired to care. :D

I told my wife, “I will never leave you.  Not so much because of how much I love you, and I do, but because I’m just too old and lazy to go through this again with anyone else.”
