22 million Americans have filed for unemployment benefits in the last four weeks.

That is why our president is in a rush to get people back to work - with job numbers like that, he has no chance for a second term.

I am afraid those number will only get worse because many governors now are talking about middle May before even thinking of having some businesses reopen.

Basically wants the slaves back at work making money for rich people. With as much bailing out and trillions disappearing into Wall Street they've already done, they may have realized if their shit continues, there won't be any more panic buying, but rather desperate looting.

If this pandemic has shown anything, it is the absolute ridiculous nature of modern life, spinning on a treadmill, reaching for a brass ring that doesn’t exist. The talk in Illinois is not to reopen the schools until Fall. Millions of people losing their jobs or being furloughed is bad enough but the millions of those in school who are unable to attend because of the pandemic is really a shame.

I dont know what everybody is worried about, our politicians are still working hard for us, recieving well earned/deserved paychecks, corporations and the wealthy received approximately $1.8 trillion of the $2.2 trillion stimulus.  We'll all be fine.  Everything will work out perfectly.... right?

And yet there were other areas of operation where donkey carrying was unnecessary because the same threat level from such explosives was much lower. Operations continued even under such threats where donkey carrying was necessary.
There are people who should be back at work and areas that should be reopened. Obviously heavily populated areas, such as New York, should continue doing what they are doing. The people, including myself, that want things reopen and people to get back to making a living are not ignoring the threat. It’s real, no one I know is disputing that but the threat of coronavirus is different for certain people and areas of our country.

I'm not the one making the arguement. Basically what I'm getting from your point of view is that, using the donkey analogy, since this explosion is smaller and will kill less people, there is no need for as much safety.

To me all your argument says is that people in rural area dont need to be as safe, even though a good number may travel to cities or higher populated areas they shouldn't be on safer at home orders because they live farther apart...?
