I bet you are another “proud” firearms owner who has no idea where it is in your closet and can’t remember the last time you shot it.

Oh hey, that's me  :emot_laughing:

And I bet you pretend to be in your own lethal weapon movie and spin it on your finger when your done shooting.  :emot_laughing:
:emot_rotf: :emot_clap: :emot_rotf: :emot_clap:
Good one Shiela.

We are not a 3rd world country. I have zero faith in our curren administration but I think saner minds than what you envision will prevail. A guy today showed me his "survival" guns (5). I asked how many can he shoot at one time? We in Texas call it the redneck syndrome.

People are stupid and insane. No one has yet to explain to me why people are hoarding shit paper, or why those people are dumb enough to think Corona beer had anything to do with this.

And by the way, my guns are locked away far and safe from tiny hands.

MissB - thank you for sharing and glad you are back and healthy again. I wondered where you had been.  ;D

stace - I totally agree. Like I have said before - we have a pandemic caused by a virus. What does going out to purchase guns and ammo or even adding to one's gun collection have to do with protecting oneself from a virus?

People are buying them to protect against people willing to take advantage during times like this.  I was talking to my dad about this and his bug worry us what if a cop pulls somebody over who has it, the officer may get it and spread it to the rest of police station... no law enforcement doesn't sound like a good thing.

To be honest I took my pistol out last week, cleaned and oiled it and the magazines.  And my dad dropped off another box of ammunition... which all went back into the closet buried under bras and panties  :emot_laughing:

Late to the thread (as usual). Glad to hear that MissB recovered.

Thankfully none of my extended family have had any symptoms.

I was out of the country when those greedy cunts in the UK started panic buying so have been a bit worried about supplies. IMHO the panic buyers should be used for the human testing of a vaccine.

Stay safe everyone.

Princess, would you like to see it light up and hum when I wave it about

Let’s try to stay on topic. Seven flirty posts about dildo pictures and comments were moved to the flirty thread in fun and games.

What I find a little disturbing is the math. I went to the doctor to be tested on March 20th. My symptoms began on March 17th. If, as the CDC is saying, there is a lapse of 14 days between contracting the virus and symptoms appearing, I was exposed some time around March 3rd. And during the period between March 3rd and March 15th, Was was going about my daily routine. I went to work and came into contact with hundreds of people, I church twice during that period, I went to see a movie on the weekend of the 7th, I went for my regular runs, etc., all the time carrying the virus.

Wow, scay that you had it, but "14 days" is just a working number to help track as many exposed people as possible, should the need arise. Estimates for the time between exposure and symptoms vary between 2 and 24 days, but the most likely time is around 4 days.

A brand that has been in the public eye amid the coronavirus pandemic due to its name announced this week that it is temporarily halting operations. The production of Corona beer is now suspended as it is considered a "non-essential business."

Grupo Modelo, the company that produces Corona beer, announced on Twitter Thursday it will stop brewing its beverages starting Sunday after the Mexican government declared breweries non-essential businesses. The brewer, owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, said it is already in the process of decreasing production.

A tiger at the Bronx Zoo has tested positive for the new coronavirus, in what is believed to be the first known infection in an animal in the U.S. or a tiger anywhere, federal officials and the zoo said Sunday.

The 4-year-old Malayan tiger named Nadia — and six other tigers and lions that have also fallen ill — are believed to have been infected by a zoo employee who wasn't yet showing symptoms, the zoo said. The first animal started showing symptoms March 27, and all are doing well and expected to recover, said the zoo, which has been closed to the public since March 16 amid the surging coronavirus outbreak in New York.

Most who have gotten it develop symptoms by 5 days.  I think the 14 days is the quarantine time to be absolutely sure you won’t develop the disease, and it’s intended as a safety overkill.

So what's with this reporter asking why stores and restaurants are still allowed to do business?  I get that it'll slow the spread more, but that would cause immediate chaos I think.  Not only would there be more hoarding, but it would be on riot level.
