Neighbor just stopped by to check on the "old folks on the block".

Offered to pick up anything we need if we didn't want to go out.

Good neighbors :D

And I've been told it wont get me out of sex.  :emot_laughing:

It's been a weird week and a half and has been the last thing on our minds.   Totally not in the mood.   But I was sick during that time too.

No interest.   We'll play catch up in a few weeks and find happy time together a couple of times a day.

Down goes restaurants and bars in the states of Ohio and Illinois.

Illinois and Ohio announced on Sunday they would close all restaurants and bars in response to the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

"We will be issuing an order closing all bars and restaurants in #Ohio beginning at 9:00 tonight," Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine tweeted, while noting that establishments would be allowed to continue carry-out and delivery services.

"What we can't have is people congregating and seated," he said.

All Minnesota schools are closed now. St.Paul teachers just settled their strike and we're going back to work.

I wont go into details. But this is now affecting me financially beyond the kids being out of school.  :emot_banghead:

I might have it.  Got a fever last night and felt better this moring, temp back to normal.  Fever is back now.

Not much of a fever, just 99.8, same as last night.  Not sure how to tell if I have it.

I searched to see how long I might be infectious or hos long I have to stay home.  I know it's 14 days from exposure, but how long from symtoms?

Normally I would wait until my nose stops running, but I don't have much of a runny nose.

Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath.

From what I understood you'll have all three.

Please read https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fabout%2Fsymptoms.html

As for symptoms, you're contagious until full recovery (I think).

I'm hoping this is just a fever and you get over it quick.  Don't hesitate to call the doctor if things worsen.

Love you, get better.

Not everyone get all three.  One blogger who tested positive had just the fever and the headache.. I had fever, headache (not bad), and sore throat (mild) last night.

No shortness of breath that I noticed, but then I'm not doing anything strenuous.

Just feeling chilled then sweats.   My neck glands felt like golf balls last night and they were sore, now just the left one is swollen and not sore anymore.

Shortness of breath is a "biggie" for anyone, anytime, and is not a symptom of the common cold, or even the seasonal flu, usually. Condisider the inability to "catch your breath", "inability to adequately Exhale" after minor exercise or stair climbing, as a serious indicator of big trouble.

Specifically noted as present for serious C Virus 19 sufferers, a precursor for many with 'pneumonia', and a indicator for Heart Failure... no fun, take seriously.

Having said all that, I did not see 'shortness of breath' in Lois' statement about her symptoms. Hope you get through this well, Lois.

Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

Lois, I read the average incubation period is about 5 days (No less than 4) but some don’t show symptoms for as long as 11 days.  Also, there’s a lot of unknowns here, might be any number of days.

Stay safe.

The airports right now of returning travelers are worse than cruise ships as far as incubation zones.  What a mess.

I saw that last night on the news Jed.  OMG the people crammed together.   It was addressed at the 6:00 WH news conference and they've supposedly solved that.

I believe Jules I have some realistic skepticism about anything coming out of the White House right now.  Not sure when the images I saw were taken, thought it was today, just not sure.

Heard through a friend that has a close relative in Washington that in the next 24-48 hours a National Emergency will be announced forcing all non-essential businesses to close.

I'm thinking it's tomorrow some time.   Likely before St Patricks Day in order to shut down gatherings in celebration.

For the young and healthy dismissive of getting COVID-19 consider this scenario.  You recover sure, but you have scarring in your lungs and reduced lung function.  You still feel fine, so you dismiss that too.  But many years from now at the age of 70 you get the flu; it turns into pneumonia and you die.  Perhaps if you avoided COVID-19 you would have fought off that flu at 70 and lived to 95 feeling great well into your 90s.  You just cheated yourself and your your loved ones out of 25 years because of being careless in your youth.

Yep. Shut CJ's income down. Send the kids home for two weeks. What's next?
