Arrrrrgh. Our Vikings...as if they didn't have enough trouble.

We lost our quarterback Cousins to a torn Achilles Tendon. Scrambling the team made a deal with Arizona for Joshua Dobbs.Plan was to have him as backup quarterback and use Jaren Hall to replace Cousins. Early in the game he ended up getting eliminated from the game with a concussion. :facepalm:

Now it's up to the newly acquired Dobbs to take the reins.

At the half the Vikings are behind Atlanta 11-10.

Looks like Green Bay easily handled the Rams today, 20-3.
Happiness in Wisconsin tonight. Shiela's dad must be happy.

Wondering how Shiela and Allen will be celebrating? Ok sports fans...how much punishment will the gaming chair be in store for?

Dad was quite happy. Had a lot of positive things to talk about for this game. He did talk about how different the game may have been if Stafford played.

Win is a win.

As for Allan. No game chair, just some good ol' cowgirling in bed.

People here are still talking about last weekend's stunning performance by our last minute quarterback replacement. He had only a few days to learn a new playbook. Didn't know most of the new fellow players. Mostly first names and nicknames. Like reaching into a hat for a rabbit he pulled out a win.

Now at the half the Vikings are leao the Saints 24-3. I know, it's only the half but I optimistic.

Field Goal as time ran out.    Lions 41-38
It was a tense game in the second half.   The fun thing was that about 2 minutes after the game ended, someone in our neighborhood set off fireworks.  Then it was a chain reaction and it sounded like 4th of July.  Fireworks from multiple people nearby. So fun. 
Big question now....


Does Dan want to celebrate?   I'll let you know tomorrow.

I couldn't get a replacement at work until 11:00-11:30 because the only person willing to switch with me still had plans this morning. So I get home a little before noon, and take a shower, get some food packed up, visit KB a bit, and then drive a half hour to dad's. Didnt get there till almost 1:00.

That's why green bay lost today.😂

Green Bay win and a Chicago loss had my brother ecstatic. Guess when Chicago played Thursday night and won, during the after game stuff the fans started chanting green bay sucks. Jason was saying that green bay is living rent free in their heads.

GB isnt good, but still better than the bears 🤣

Dallas looked decent in a road win against the Panthers. The truly amazing thing was Jerry Jones announcing that Jimmy Johnson will be enshrined in the “Ring of Honor” at Jerryworld, the first Sunday of December.
