Moderator Note:   Topic Split because it didn't belong where it was.  The Original Thread was started as a story contest page.  A nice gesture by our Board Admin wanting to have a contest for Valentines Day that consisted of Romantic Stories.    There was no need for this discussion to take place there.




It’s a shame that these stories haven’t attracted as many views as they should have.
Well done to the writers who managed to write them and good luck in the contest.

In my own case when I attempted to write a story for this contest after the first few paragraphs, my ideas and plots for the story always started to involve incest and underage and I had to give up.

Even with my two current stories in Sex Stories by Members I had to finish them where I left them. Because the next parts/chapters would make it necessary for the story to be moved.

In my option these type of stories are not what KB members want to read and before I am called a child rapist and pedophile. I would like to see the moderators run a poll to see which type of stories our members want.

There are plenty of consenting adult stories on plenty of other sites around if that’s what you want.

Pedophilia is termed pedophilic disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), and the manual defines it as a paraphilia involving intense and recurrent sexual urges towards and fantasies about prepubescent children that have either been acted upon or which cause the person with the attraction distress or interpersonal difficulty. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) defines it as a "sustained, focused, and intense pattern of sexual arousal—as manifested by persistent sexual thoughts, fantasies, urges, or behaviours—involving pre-pubertal children."

If the shoe fits... We can sugarcoat it, or engage in euphemisms.  But if you have “persistent sexual thoughts, fantasies, urges or behaviors” involving children, you are a pedophile.  It doesn’t mean you are a child rapist.  There are other terms and legalities to address that.  Pedophilia involves what is going on inside your head.  And that is your business, not mine.

We want them here, too.  Why is that so hard to understand?  "Go somewhere else for consensual erotic stories" is not an acceptable answer.  Pedophilia is aberrant, not the norm.

Telling the consenting adults to go fuck themselves, so you can continue your sick fascination exclusively isn't healthy, for any of us.  This is not a site for pedophiles, it's a site for everyone who's old enough to read erotica.

I shouldn't have this much opposition for 3 fucking stories.  3, I went through all of that, and you were fighting me the whole time.  I got 3 fucking stories out of it, and you're playing the persecution card?  You have hundreds of fucking stories to chose from!

It's about time you let the adults play too, or grow the fuck up.

All right, but the contest was in fact a front.  I had Lois set it up to encourage writers to write romantic stories, because I knew that if I started it, the animosity would discourage anyone from participating.  As it is, I got 2 participants, which is better than nothing.

It's all right, I'm satisfied with that little progress, and grateful for the contributions.  However, this digression did call into question the motives behind the contest itself.  Just for clarity, it was a nice gesture, but she did it for me, because I asked her to.

No one's right to free speech has been abridged that I can see. The previous thread just wasn't the place for it.

To paraphrase Voltaire... No matter how idiotic your ideas may be, I will defend your right to espouse them.

Okay... I admit, that is a loose interpretation.
