Probably crabcakes and raw oysters.

Funny thing about finding something insensitive, it always seems like others are telling people what they should find offensive.  Mostly because those ‘poor people’ can’t make their own decisions on such matters.

Interesting article a couple years ago polled Native Americans on if they found the name Redskins offensive.  9/10 said no and didn’t care if they were referred to by that name, not that many would.  Names have a way of being offensive only if they were meant that way.  Certainly no sports team would consider a derogatory name.  Btw, can’t seem to link the Washington Post article here, requires paying and won’t let me copy.  For those that say, ‘what about the 1/10 that do find it offensive?’  I’d reply, when have you ever seen 9/10 agree?  Probably more than 1/10 Native Americans find the term Native Americans offensive.

Tacos can vary widely. Aside from the traditional seasoned ground beef, I've had fish tacos, spaghetti tacos and seafood (shrimp/crab) tacos. There are even vegetarian tacos.   :facepalm:

A taco is served in a crisp U-shaped tortilla. A flat tortilla with filling on top is called a tostada, I think, but I have no idea why. It seems to me like the pancake/waffle debate. You know, same batter in a different shape.

And of course a soft tortilla wrapped around whatever filling is called a burrito. Now you know everything I know about Mexican food.  ;D

Yeah, I get a craving for fish tacos once in a while.  I know a couple places that make OK ones, so if I want them to be really good, I make them myself.

I would like to find a good place to get them out.

I realized a few days ago why Jules cheers for Tom Brady (I mean other than she undresses him with her eyes).  He played at Michigan.

Halftime will be smoked ribs, corn bread, and for the girl that ordered her wedding dress too small, mostly salad.

We’re doing a late Peruvian lunch of pescado chicharron con salsa criolla around 3, game at 6:30.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting greatness to be great.

A lot of people "hate" the Patriots because they are a well run organization and a model of consistancy.

What they really should be doing is being angry at the team they root for for being dreadfully run and making themselves a laughing stock of the league.

The superbowl commercials were blah.

I did see Jeff Bridges as The Dude from The Big Lebowski in the Stella commercial though.  I thought that was fun. 


"White Russian?"

"No give me a Stella Artois"

This after Sarah Jessica Parker throws the wait staff for a loop by ordering a Stella instead of a Cosmopolitan, which her Sex in The City character, Carrie Bradford(?), regularly ordered.
