It should be red-white-blue, not red-blue-white.

What a 4th quarter!  Mahomes  did everything he was asked to do but when going against Brady, who came into the game with a chip on his shoulder, odds were the Patriots would somehow pull it out. Seems both defenses kind of quit in the last quarter though.

I was cheering for Saints then Chiefs.  There was a lot of yelling at my TV.

A woman ref would not have missed that call. We pay more attention to detail.

Both my teams lost.  Totally uninterested in a Patriots Rams matchup.  I think the officials were pushing that result.  We got the #2 vs. #9 designated television marketing areas (DMA’s) for Super Bowl Sunday, rather than the #33 vs. #50.  It’s all about eyeballs, ratings, and ad revenue.  So many bullshit calls and non-calls.  My season is over.

Toe is probably right, but still it was good entertainment if you're a Patriots fan (which I am, but I used to be a Chiefs fan).

Still in all, having been part of the machiavellian business world much of my life, you have to admire the ingenuity and the statistical science that goes into making all this shit come out to the best advantage of the captains of industry. Or, if not admire, at least respect.

On the other hand, I do my little bit for humanity by avoiding as far as possible the purchase of anything advertised on TV.

I should have said both my picks lost.  I was rooting for Saints and KC.

So I’m in seafood restaurant and bar right now.  The manager just told me Bill Belichick was a busboy here.  We both agreed we were wouldn’t be cheering for him in two weeks.

If you’re wondering how long this place has been open that Bill Belichick was a busboy, it says established 1750.

Who's coaching the Patriots anyway? Is it Bill Belichick? Or is it Mama Fratelli from The Goonies?

Sorry MJ, gotta go with Jed on this one. I have a cousin playing for the Rams. I can't root against family.

WOO to Remington for the Belichick/Mama Fratelli comparison.

Goff, a number one draft pick as quarterback for the Rams, made it to the Super Bowl in three years of being drafted number one.  The quickest ever.

What foods to serve that reflect Los Angeles, I wonder. Suggestions are very welcome. New England is no picnic to choose party food for, either, and I am much more familiar with them, than the Rams...

Tacos? How are Left Coast tacos different, if they are different, from what one sees as 'typical' Tex-Mex? What I see online seems FLAT taco with filling on top?

Kraft ownership gives lots of options for Patriots food choices. Letting the air out of the ball is so 2015 (I think) as a theme...

A representative LA food? Fish tacos, of course!

And while Robert Kraft has no relation to Kraft Foods, he's pals with your boy, which means, I assume, you'll be rooting for the Patriots:

I wonder what fans of a team with an insenstive nickname and logo eat.

Thank you, MissBarbara... Actually, I am hoping Sean McVay and his team have a great outing that day. Sean was with my Redskins, and somehow we let him get away in 2016.

Good ideas, and a all seafood party menu, while not to my taste, fits these two teams exactly. Some form of Tacos, pulled Brisket as a meat base, variety of toppings for guests to choose from... and fresh baked Mac and Cheese we did for a December Holiday Party was very well received, so will include a variation on that on SuperBowl LIII Sunday, I think.

Considering some form of Ram/Sheep/Lamb dish, on a maybe list right now...
Lots of things kicking around, from football shaped burgers and buns, wide variety of cool veggies and dips, and more traditional football game foods.

Tom Brady has many fans, of course... Oh, you meant DT? My boy, haha...

Thank you.

I don't know much about the NFL, but I'm pretty sure Tom Brady isn't in that picture...
