Why do people come here for Just Politics?

It's not just here, it's also Literotica, and RavishU last time I checked.  Put another way, why don't people come to a Sex Story site to read, or write Sex Stories?  This is a serious question, not picking a fight.  (I know to do that in 1408)  I spend a lot of time in Sex Stories by Members, and I watch the Members/Guests (Hidden User) field a lot.  You know who I never see there?

I'm not naming any names, but at least 5 of them who spend basically all of their time talking about Politics.  I just don't get it, what exactly is it about Erotic Forums that attract Liberals, Conservatives, and others (Moderates doesn't sound right.  Moderate Extremists?  The Far-Middle?) and why do they Avoid the sex stories?  I would think that, if they wanted to go somewhere to avoid Sex Stories, they would avoid forums devoted to Erotic story archives. 

Again, I don't want an Argument, I just came from Abuse (2 doors down) and honestly I've gotten my fill of trying to explain my personal politics.  I would just like to know if anyone else has noticed this?  Here, and on similar sites, especially on Literotica, since they have a fairly strict policy limiting even Age Play between consenting adults.  (I got a story sent back for Diaper Play, between a married couple, that don't even have kids.)  So, it can't be the fact that we've been overrun by pedophiles.

I'm honestly at a loss, and trying to figure it out is driving me nuts.  (It's a short drive, more like a putt.)

Yeah, but there's forums devoted to Politics, in every imaginable flavor you could want!  I mean, if you want to troll "Libtards" you can do it in the comments of Youtube, I get that all the time there.  (Ironically on the channels I like involving Guns, Swords, and Tanks.)

What is it about sex sites, do you just want to yell at Perverts?  Why doesn't it happen in the Comments on Xvideos?  I just thought about that, 1408 looks like the comments on Youtube, but Xvideos comments don't.  It's been a while since I checked Hamster, and the others, I can handle a trackball one handed, hold on a minute...

Kristensboard is a discussion forum, not strictly an erotic writing platform.

Okay, honestly, this is news to me.  I thought it was, considering we have titles like "Freakishly Strange, Pervert, Not yet a Pervert..."  Then again, I was invited here as an Author, not to discuss stuff, and I surfed in from the Kristen's Archive page until I had enough posts to get here from [Kristen's Board Psiberserker] on Google.  (I can't bookmark this.)

Other platforms, with Literotica being a very good example, offer a better way of filtering for both content and quality. Obviously all tastes are different and mine don't always line up with those of the larger readership, but I find the rating system on Literotica is generally a decent estimation of how likely it is I will enjoy a story.

Yeah, it's just a PITA for Authors on there, otherwise I'd still be contributing there.  Like half my stories get sent back for weird reasons, if there even are any given. I just got sick of rewriting 3-5 times to get published once.  It does make for higher quality for the Readers, you're right about that.  Still doesn't explain what attracts the single issue wonks to call each other "Libtard" over there, though.  General Discussion is all Politics, basically the same way SSBM is wall to wall Pedos here.
