Klopp to leave Liverpool shock  :o  https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68104699

I thought old tombstone teeth would compete with the longevity of Ferguson and Wenger

I have a lot of respect for him. Would be sad to see him go.

And god help them if they appoint Gerrard  :emot_laughing:

Everyone's predicting Xabi Alonso will leave Leverkusen for Liverpool at the end of the season.

It makes a lot of sense.

Is it a coincidence that Xavi has just announced he is leaving Barcelona at the end of the season?

Good question. Then again, it's also possible the board just told him they'd need to sell the whole squad to settle their debts  :emot_laughing:

Wait, didn't Real Madrid sell off their old training ground to the Spanish government for an insanely inflated price many years ago? I guess Barcelona don't get that luxury...

The Reds face Wolverhampton on May 19, the final game. Tickets located behind the dugout in Anfield's Main Stand are going for 24,480 pounds, site fees and VAT included. Hopefully the match will be televised.

Yesterday, Liverpool looked flat as Arsenal pretty much dominated the match, beating Liverpool 3 - 1.  The ManCity - Liverpool match in early March hopefully will be a better match.

Seems ManCity's dynamic duo of KGB and Haaland are back and scoring, beating Everton yesterday, 2-0. And they are only two points from the top.

Newcastle beat Forest 3-2. Here's something interesting... last season, NUFC was tied with Man City for fewest goals conceded at 33. That was for all 38 matches. This season, Arsenal have 22 conceded, Liverpool 23, and Man City 25, while Newcastle are already at 39. Only Brighton and West Ham have a worse defensive record in the top half of the table.

Look at Liverpool sneaking up there. Maybe "Kloppo" can go out on toppo

Yes, they are still hanging tough. Nice to see different clubs be on top.

They're hanging in there...by one point:

It's hard to imagine that, with 13 matches remaining, City won't go on a tear and rack up points. And as much as I despise them, Arsenal's only one point behind City.

It will be fun.

Manchester derby Sunday. Being a long time United fan, my only question is how many goals City will score against United. 😎😎

United played a decent first half. Then City woke up. The score was 3 - 1, City, in stoppage time when I turned the TV off. United was back to playing dumb again.

With that loss, Man U now falls 6 points behind Spurs, and Spurs have a game in hand.

Not to rub it in or anything...

No problem. I've experienced the highs and lows of being a United fan since the 60s.  The are lacking in talent to make them a top four team. Plus, I don't know when goalkeepers started kicking ground balls to their backs who kick it back to them all the while the opposing team is sending more players into the 18 yard box. Very frustrating to watch.

Since Guardiola took over at Manchester City and imposed "playing it out from the back" in order to draw the opposition forward and then play through them.

Exactly!

And having De Bruyne back at full fitness doesn't hurt, either.
