Fascinating post match interview by Pep, calling out the desire of the players and even the support of the home fans. Too complacent and not enough desire, not good enough! Love Pep, I hope he never leaves the club! He demands excellence from everyone associated with the club, what more could you want as a supporter?

Must have worked, since they beat the Spurs 4 -2 while United played to a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.  Big match this weekend, United vs Arsenal.

Well, the interview was post match so it didn’t have anything to do with their performance vs Spurs. The players interviewed said that the dressing room was silent at the beginning, Pep eventually gave them some encouragement toward beating Spurs but that was it. I think his post match comments were designed to motivate certain players, hopefully it will work as we go forward!

United has a big one tomorrow, you can bet I’ll be watching with interest! Good luck, Rick!

Harry Kane on the shortlist for ManU?

Kane could work. At least he should be cheaper than Ronaldo

United gave up the go ahead goal today against Arsenal in the 90th minute, to lose 3-2. What happens when their defense couldn't clear the ball out of their half for most of the second half.

That was a tough one, Rick! United played well, always tough to get a dagger in the heart at the end of a match! I was hoping for a draw, if I’m honest.

I hear you. By winning, Arsenal didn't lose any ground, points wise, from City.

Was a little disappointed by Sandcastle's result against Crystal Palace. At least they seem to have it figured out defensively, with City being the only other team with a Goals Allowed in the teens. But they're still a good bit behind City and Arsenal in terms of scoring

I said at the start of the season that I thought Newcastle would be Top 4 this year. I might be proven wrong, we have a lot of season left but they look good so far. I wasn’t that impressed with Eddie Howe until now, but he’s clearly doing a great job there. It’s going to be a great titke race, exactly why the PL is the best league in the world!

City still has three matches against Arsenal, one being this Friday in the FA Cup. The EPL matches should be good ones to watch.

Yeah, I won’t concede the title until after City and Arsenal have played both matches! I work with an Arsenal fan, I’ll be the first to congratulate him if we lose both matches. The FA Cup match this Friday will be interesting, I don’t think either manager will want to show as much as they would for a PL match! I think Pep will continue with his usual Cup lineups and not play all the typical A players. Should be fun!

Mbappe scores 5 goals in one game. Sets a record.

Lionel Messi was rested, but Mbappe, Neymar and Sergio Ramos all started.

Pays de Cassel frustrated their opponents for much of the first half but the floodgates opened when Mbappe notched the opener in the 29th minute.

Mbappe went on to complete his hat-trick in just 11 minutes as PSG held a four-goal lead at half-time.

Despite the comfortable lead, Galtier decided that his star duo, Mbappe and Neymar, did not need a rest.

And the 24-year-old Frenchman went on to score twice more in the second half.

Mbappe netted his fifth in the 79th minute and, in the process, became the first player in PSG history to score five goals in a single match.

To me, Mbappe resembles former heavyweight boxer, Mike Tyson.  ;D

He is quite a talent! I like him a lot better than the King of Fallon d’Floor, Neymar!

Players today are younger, bigger, faster and more talented.

Ronaldo coming back to play in Europe?  Worn out his welcome already in Saudi Arabia?

Seems like Rudi Garcia said Ronaldo would finish his career in Europe, not Saudi Arabia, and that the club owners aren't happy with Ronaldo's attitude. Apparently he thought he'd bang in five goals a match and have the country worship him while making zero effort lol

Unless Man Utd implode completely against Forest tomorrow, looks like the Carabao / EFL Cup final will be between MUFC and NUFC  ;D
