Man U playing Liverpool. United is gonna get spanked. And not in the good way

ManU was not only spanked. They were whipped. Liverpool and ManCity are pulling away from the rest of the league.

I know some people think that Maguire is being used as a scapegoat, and Utd definitely have more problems than just him, but I couldn't believe when he said that taking points off Liverpool wasn't a motivation for him or the team. Holy shit. A rivaly doesn't just consist of wanting to beat the other team each time you play them - that should be the motivation in every match, rivalry or not - but it also involves not wanting the other team to outperform you in a competition overall. Then again, he's also defended some of his poor performances by saying that he's been a starter under two Man Utd managers now, which shows a frightening lack of self-awareness.

Who was that team playing Southampton today and what have they done with my Chelsea?

What Chelsea club showed up against Arsenal yestersday? They seem to be trending the wrong way.

They'll probably get smacked by Liverpool next, but it's nice to see my Derpcastle have some much better results under Howe

Definitely not the one that nearly overcame a 1-3 home loss to Real Madrid  >:(

Speaking of Real Madrid, I was hoping for an all-English final, but Real Madrid will probably make it more fun, with the crazy form they've had lately.

Regardless of the outcome, the biggest winner will probably be Ancelotti, feeling like he's won a million bucks for being able to go to another European final instead of still trying to plug the holes in Everton's sinking ship.  ;D

It was kind of amazing how City gave up two quick goals at the end of regulation to even up the total goals by both teams. I didn't see that coming, especially when Real Madrid did not have a shot on goal for most of the match.  City falling could get Liverpool pumped up when they face City in the EPL.

Last week he became the first manager to win all five major european leagues (he was a pretty good player as well).

Liverpool and Man City don't have to play each other in the final games of the season though.  Pool v Tottenham and West Ham v Man City could be the defining games.

Will Newcastle play the spoiler today and beat ManCity?  Liverpool scratched out a draw against the Spurs yesterday and, for the moment, are tied with ManCity for first place in the EPL.

I agree CT.  ManU needs an overhaul.

I highly doubt it, Derpcastle have played better since the takeover but it would still require for them to be at their very best and Man City at their very worst. After Madrid, I also think City will be extra motivated to prove something

SATJUL 236 PM

FC Bayern Munich v Manchester City

Lambeau Field – Green Bay, WI

For the first time ever, football will be played at lambeau field. People around here get angry when I say that  :emot_laughing:

Even though it is only a "friendly" I hope the stadium is filled.
