If it's true, throw away the key.

But. Can we all just agree that it's monumentally stupid for a 20 year old to earn 100k a week?

Stupid, yes. But it is a business and anyone should try to get as much as they can. Plus, if the owners want to pay those huge salaries, who are the players to argue.

The Spurs, lead by Kane's stoppage time goal, upset ManCity on their pitch, 3-2.   One of the best EPL matches this season.

Was Kane awarded the man of the match?

A few teams fighting for that coveted fourth spot, since ManCity, Liverpool and Chelsea continue to control the top three spots.

I honestly don't know if Chelsea will make it. Lukaku is a very expensive problem for them.

My money's on Arsenal. Arteta is impressing me. The team is young, and he's not scared of getting rid of prima donnas.

Man U is too soft. They need to lock everyone up with Roy Keane for a couple of hours.

Don't sleep on Liverpool. Where City once seemed like a shoo-in the win the title, right now Liverpool's only 6 points behind with a match in hand. They're firing on all cylinders, and they should continue to challenge City for the title.

While my heart is with Spurs to capture the #4 spot, my brain says otherwise. They're win over City on Saturday was thrilling -- especially with Kane's game winner in the waning seconds of stoppage time -- that win was proceeded by three ugly losses to Chelsea, Southampton, and Wolves.

I loathe Arsenal, but they're currently only 3 points behind Man U for the #4 spot, and they have 3 matches in hand.

My Derpcastle has been on a little streak lately, beating Leeds, Everton, and Aston Villa, before the draw with West Ham. They've quietly pulled themselves out of the relegation zone in the process, and while my expectations for the rest of the season aren't too high, there's apparently a chance yet that they'll be in the EPL next season and the rebuilding can finally begin

I agree. I've been kinda keeping my eye on them since the ownership change. They're now 4 points clear of relegation, and given the congestion on the table between #11 and #17, they're only 5 points behind 11th place.

They'll likely go a on a spending spree in the summer transfer window, and while that doesn't always work out, it does show potential promise.

I would be interested in knowing why, MissB. Is it because of the promotion fix in 1915 that we previously discussed?

I'm seriously impressed by the depth of soccer knowledge here on KB. What little I know dates back to the days of four leagues.

Chelsea looked good yesterday in their Champion League match, winning 2 - 0.  The American Pulisic scored the second goal.

ManU has a match today.

MissB - I like the pair of Kane and Son as strikers for the Spurs.
