January is (in the US at least)

    National Bath Safety Month
    National Black Diamond Month
    National Blood Donor Month
    National Braille Literacy Month
    National Hobby Month
    National Hot Tea Month
    National Mentoring Month
    National Menudo Month
    National Oatmeal Month
National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month
    National Slow Cooking Month
    National Soup Month
    National Sunday Supper Month

Surely there's something there you can raise a glass to.

I thought the Day was a bit weird, I saw a guy in a powered suit making an assault jump.

(A silver star if you name the author, Gold star if you also name the novel and the main character.)

    National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day
    National Drinking Straw Day
    National Fruitcake Toss Day

Would tossing a fruitcake be considered assault with a deadly weapon?  ;D

Sounds like Starship Troopers by Heinlein, but I could be wrong.

She's on a mission to save the Earth and her biggest beef is plastic.   After reading a National Geographic article in July(appx) about the effects plastic is having on our planet, I am on board!!

You do realize that you are about 50 years late on this don't you.??
Jacques Cousteau was talking about Marine Pollution and plastic's about 50 years ago,
particularly when he had his TV Series (shows) funded by The National Geographic .
But if you want to better help......Join the Cousteau Society .....It's worth it.

Love,
Liz

Hey! What about the feather? The little finger lifted  instead. You, know, when they aren’t worth the whole bird!

In January?  There's a reason why it's called a "Dutch Oven."  Maybe south of the equator, but up here?  Not especially.

PS: Personally, I appreciate Law Enforcement people every day and I'm glad they're willing to do the job. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with the shit they have to on a daily basis.

    National Static Electricity Day

Ohhhh, I am so shuffling my feet across the carpet for 15 minutes, then poking Mark on the tip of his nose tonight.
