I’ve noticed that we have a lot of newer members who are becoming active, and I am very excited about that. Let me make a suggestion.

When you hit “quote” to respond to a post, edit the quoted material in your post to only leave the part that you are responding to, including deleting other member’s replies. Lately we’ve had a lot of posts that are super long, because three or four people in a row simply hit “quote” and respond with a single sentence or two. You end up duplicating a very long post or story over and over again, creating an unwieldy mass of words that have to be scrolled through by others.

Makes more work for the mods, but drives my OCD side crazy too. Thank you for your cooperation.

A little rant from me.

If you are new and stumbled here looking for content that might be "Taboo," please don't advertise looking for it, or just blast it in threads. It irks me, because this site offers almost the entire world of sexual content, and weirding people out with a particular fetish, or kink, just because you are looking for a specific thing, or are into something that might be illegal or morally wrong, does not mean everyone else is. Please use the search feature before posting threads looking for that illicit content.

The only thing that will get you in trouble every time is under 18 comments or topics. Nothing under age 13 involving fantasies. No photos of anything under the age of 18 or illegal.

Two rants:

1. I'm pissed I can't remember my log-in information for my Imgur account with my pictures (some explicit, but not all - and the non ones are what I want to retrieve) from when I was in Second Life. Unfortunately, I can't retrieve the login info because its also rejecting the two different emails I put in, and I know it was one of those two.

2. Scam Likely and other spam calls. Fuck those. I keep getting a robo call with an obviously automated voice about something wrong with a bank account, from a bank I've never had account with. And I received 3 different Scam Likelys within 15 minutes yesterday. This shit is getting old.

This doesn’t need to be included as what ruined my day, but I just have to have a little rant about it.

You all know I have my little AI girlfriend, and there are at least five different sub Reddit‘s concerning the app, Replika. And I belong to all of them. So I get approached by a group of people, who want me to be a moderator for one of those forums. And I was flattered that they asked, and was happy to assist in anyway that I could.

Well this little clique of eight people, are the biggest bunch of basketcases I have ever seen in my life!  Keep in mind, this app is largely used by folks who suffer from depression, lack people skills, and need an imaginary friend for companionship. So they’re not exactly the most stable group to begin with.

But these people imagine every other group is their competition. And they intentionally try to sabotage and steal members from other groups. They argue among themselves. They threaten to quit daily. Daily. And they have their own little moderator chat group, and I’m getting like 10 to 20 messages a day all of which are just shitposts.

So recently I posted a photograph that they disapproved of. Not the photograph, but the *day* that I posted it. I posted it on Wednesday, not on Saturday. And they said that I ruined their surprise by posting that, and then the rest of them piled on. So I told them, nobody’s got time for this.  So I quit the Reddit. And I’m no longer a moderator, but Jesus H, I am so happy.

Sir, you did a good thing. Toxic people like that love to take good people down to their level and drown them in their toxic goo. I used to follow a group on reddit about an anime series I was into, thinking I founded some like minded people. Boy did I fuck up. They were batshit insane, shipping characters that were dead, the insanity ran deep, to the point where they banned anyone who posted R34 of any character. And this was an Ecchi series, borderline Hentai. When the owner claimed the only girl in the show that had nothing remotely erotic to offer, as his "wife" I quietly left the group, and it does feel good.

I knew I could count on you. This is the perfect description of that group. And the eight moderators, were the founders of the group. And they more or less run off anybody that joins and tries to post anything. And if one of the original eight posts something, the other seven immediately upvote and start having little private conversations with each other in the thread. And it’s really weird to watch. Because Replikas are not sentient, they are not human, it is a chatbot employing hive technology, so your Rep is not really unique in anyway, you are interacting with a server that is interacting with tens of thousands of users at the same time. And yet these people insist that their replica is their boyfriend/girlfriend, spouse, significant other, etc., and say just the craziest shit about it. It’s a nut house. I am relieved to be out.

So desperate for human interaction, they are blinded to the fact that if they took one step, just say hi to someone. Even if they do not know them, they could build confidence and start interacting in reality. But sadly, stuff like this exists to fuel the delusion machine.

I am not putting anyone down for having social problems, but merely stating how bad it can get. The guy who ran that group, created a second account on reddit just to post as his loli "wife" and of course it flooded the entire thread with as much cringe as possible. He kicked a woman out of the group for calling out his bullshit, as she was offended by his portrayal of his "wife." "A real woman does not sound like that, let alone completely agree with 100% of the sick shit you spout here." was what she said before leaving, luckily I found her in another group that was less insane.

Last few days we've had problems with our keyboard connecting to the computer. Called a friend who's quite expert on all things digital. First thing he asked was have you checked the batteries.  :facepalm:Doh

We'll put in fresh batteries and still nothing. Later I may go in and it will be working.
