I once lived in a high rise apartment not far outside Washington DC.  It was a gated apartment building where you needed a key even to get into the parking lot.  Despite security personnel and keys to get in the parking lot, the building and into your apartment, there was constant crime within the complex.  I once got into an argument with the front desk people about a friend coming over to visit and finally got exasperated and told them, “I don’t know who in the hell you think you are keeping out.  All the damn criminals in the area live in this building and have keys.”

My comment was not well received.  But it’s just like Trump’s border wall.  Is it supposed to keep MS13 in?  No, apparently it’s designed to keep out those fleeing our gang exports.

The Germans used them very effectively in separating families to ensure that the adults would do whatever the Germans wanted or never see their children again.

Children have been told by sadistic guards that their parents have abandoned them.

As for the parents, they are being told they can see their children again if they agree to be deported.  Some of these parents fear this means their children will be deported and murdered, which is exactly why they fled to the USA.  The result is that these parents are mentally preparing to abandon their children in order to save their lives.

Some 5 million American children have an incarcerated parent, and are now separated from that criminal parent.

The manufactured media and Democrat angst about incarcerated criminal aliens and children of incarcerated aliens, and incarcerated/detained aliens being processed for their requested asylum cases, is just that. Not anything new, not anything more onerous than has been the case in history for such aliens and families of aliens who request Asylum, and are awaiting deportation or some movement in their asylum cases.

The 'case of the week' seems to be hand wringing about alien children. No action can be taken that will satisfy those seeking to keep this in the front page of the "news".

What is criminal is how Democrats can be stampeded on a dime. Next "case" is lets get rid of ICE.  What will be next?

How about settle down, allow the law to proceed, and these aliens to be rejected or approved, whatever, and their cases resolved, and the families deported for those who are not accepted, or the largess of his Nation granted to those who can make their case.

I know you don't like those pesky laws, but laws exist, and when people may break the law, they may pay the penalty. Meanwhile, costing YOU and ME millions, or billions, to keep the nation free of such criminals.

There are authorized methods to enter the Nation. Those who choose to do it in a criminal manner pay the price, incarceration, for criminal lawbreaking. The second time it is a Felony, so more serious jail time, and supposed never being allowed to enter legally.

Change the law, if you wish a different result. Politicians will not tell the truth, and vote to change the law, and so here we are.  Of course, they will not tell the truth of how they feel, as they would be voted out by their constituents, hopefully.

Try maybe salvaging some American lives, who are down on their luck, and leave the aliens to be handled by those paid to do so. Lots of Americans who need help, need care, need people to wring their hands like you enjoy doing, and you could find some support, not keep banging your heads on the wall.

Build the wall. Stops the criminals, lots of them anyway, no need to incarcerate and you get what you want. Mexico needs jobs, let Mexico build the wall, but the wall must be built, tall and long, and aliens not accepted for entry must be deported, taking their children with them.

Refugees and asylum seekers are not criminals.  Trump and Sessions made it impossible to enter the country legally by violating the law concerning refugees and asylum seekers. Facing death if they returned home, they found entering the country however they could to be the best remedy.

The system is broken and Trump made it worse.

Trump and Sessions are both criminals by breaking the law concerning refugee and asylum seekers.  They then took children away from their parents.  Experts say this is CHILD ABUSE. They STOLE children and took them across state lines.  That is KIDNAPPING, a CAPITAL OFFENSE. They are now using the children to BLACKMAIL the parents into dropping their asylum claims.

Interesting Concept......I suppose that would apply to every person in this country.
(My Parents are of Irish and French Origins ) my Grandparents fled WW2 Europe they came to America without anything (no Visa's no Passport....nothing).....and I would expect that just about every person here in KB can trace their roots to another country and relatives that "came" to America to be the founding parents of your family and mine. So pretty much every person here has family that broke "into" America.......and imagine that Joan...."YOU TO".

Family separation lawsuit offers chilling details as Trump administration says it will fulfill federal court order

First of all, 15-by-15 size cells with 30 to 50 adults, sometimes children in them as well, with one toilet usually for those people to share. Usually, there’s some privacy. However, it’s still in the same room. And children and adults sharing that space. They’re called iceboxes.

Many, many people of these refer them as so cold that they had to huddle together on cement floors. We also have some very gripping and frankly difficult-to-read personal testimonies. I want to point to one of them.

This is from a mother whose 14-month-old child was separated from her and from the father. They were reunited after 85 days. She wrote- “The child continued to cry when we got home and would hold on to my leg and would not let me go. When I took off his clothes, he was full of dirt and lice. It seemed like they had not bathed him the 85 days he was away from us.”

She went on to say that she had thought, her child being so young, he wouldn’t have really significant effects from the separation. But when she was reunited with him, she’s worried that now actually he is really feeling and has changed because of the separation.
