So why am I supposed to go without?  I mean, all I want to do is be left alone with my porn once in a while.  Is that the worst thing in the world?

I'd talk to your wife about it, but yeah.  Porn is a reasonable substitute for sex in a monogamous relationship.  You can still do the affection thing, right?

My wife of almost 50 yr told me a few years ago she was done with sex, I have tried to stay faithful to her but like my dad always told me when I was young, a hardon  has no conscience there are a few lonely neighbor ladies around.

Same boat, wife with no sexual desire. Things don't get better. Just some people are wired different and or can't get past the grossness of sex.

If you don't have kids, maybe it's time to find someone who will love you back.  At at least she's OK with you taking matters into your own hands... Some women consider it cheating.

I really wish society was such that these kinds of things can be talked about before the hookup.

 :roll:  Sex isn't the only reason to stay married.  There may also be kids to take care of, and there's always the off chance that there's more to their relationship than just physical desire.  People get older, and desires can change, or even go away.  It's not the end of the world, and it doesn't predictably mean the end of the family.

 :emot_laughing:  Yeah, it's a bit of an assumption that guys who only think about marriage in sexual terms, or give the advice "Leave your wife if she can't put out any more" have never had a mature relationship with a woman, but I'd call it a pretty safe bet.
