Didn’t sleep well last night, so was in bed by 7-8 tonight.  She came to bed around 1:30 and that woke me.  So a couple hours later, here I am sipping bourbon with a beer chaser thinking and posting about food.

Been over three weeks since the surgery and I have not slept but maybe two hours each night, if that.  I read, doze off, wake up, read some more, waiting for morning. A few times I have made a pot of coffee at 2 in the morning.  Even surfed KB a couple of times in the middle of the night.  Confined to sleeping in a recliner with a huge arm immobilizer doesn't help. This is one definition of sucks.

Is there a "CAN SLEEP CLUB" category?

I've slept 12 hours each of the last 2 days.  It's ridiculous. Wake up and 4 hours later I'm talking a nap.  at 3 pm, I lay down for a nap and sleep a few hours.  In bed at 10pm and sleep until 6am.

Not complaining (yet).

I have slept a lot recently.  I think it may be a form of depression.  I’m not too excited about being awake.  😂😂😂

I nodded off and slept for about a half hour earlier tonight and I've been up since.  Going to go lay down and do my best to swaddle myself in weighted blankets.

That reminds me.. I was reading that someone asked on Twitter whether women would do anything differently if men would just disappear off the face of the earth for the next 24 hours. A common response was that women would start going for walks and runs at night (others would leave the door unlocked, sleep with the window open, etc)

Yes it's dark, but your eyes adjust and can see well enough.  Just outdoor lights that people have on (porch lights/lights on the side of a garage) gives enough light to see.   I'm only a little afraid of monsters jumping from the bushes.  Complete darkness I do not do.
Back in my mid 30's I would get up and run at 5am in the morning.

So, I've kind of been checking this place out to see what kind of traffic and following there is.  At first it looked fairly active, but they more I look, the more it seems like just a small handful of posters.

That's true. There's a big difference between how many people read the forums and how many actually participate, with a surprising number never posting even once and presumably registering only to be able to see the 'hidden' (to guests) forums.
