"Enough is enough." Several Democratic women in the Senate called on Senator Al Franken to resign over sexual misconduct accusations.

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 11:54 AM EST

A half dozen Senate Democratic women called for Senator Al Franken to resign Tuesday as a sixth woman came forward to charge that the Minnesota Democrat had made an improper advance on her.


I agree that he should resign, for his own good, for the good of his party, and for the good of the country.

Agreed.

Just as John Conyers needed to do.   It was a huge distraction in Detroit this past week.  He finally announced retirement yesterday.   It was well known in the community he was a hound dog. 

We have Sandy Levin retiring at the end of his term in Congress ...........NOTHING TO DO WITH CLAIMS OF SEXUAL ABUSE OR ANYTHING ELSE, just a regular old retirement.  ;)

It's been a rough week for Michigan and our representation in DC.  They were two power houses.  Levin having served 35 years.  Conyers with 53 years of service.

It is ironic that the Democrats seem to have a sense of ethics that they heed, while the Republicans who are very loud in their promotion of moral and ethical behavior, seem to be lacking.

  Took a few weeks to insure the Dem Governor would replace him with another liberal Dem in the Senate. Now the race is on to get him out before the Judge is elected in Alabama, so they can use the 'crisis' to benefit the party  from this point forward, and move Democrat resignations off the front pages, in case they may find themselves there.

Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

Roy Moore has been removed from office twice, and may be removed again if elected.

Trump might also have to pay the piper. He's heading to court, can he tell the truth or will his lies under oath get him in trouble?

But maybe Joan's got it right.  Elect Moore, then replace him when he's removed from office with another Republican.  Pence is already lined up to take Trump's job.
