I was, alledgedly lucky. He was not. My father had prepared me with the basics to extract myself from danger.

I know what Dr. Ford went through.

When I was a sophomore in high school, before I truly knew myself and understood my sexual preferences,  I dated boys. I was thrilled to be asked out by one of the football players, a very popular boy.

He took me out four times. On the fourth date, we went parking at a notorious lover’s lane location. I was very nervous, and a few minutes after parking I told him No. He refused to take that as my decision and continued to paw at me, attempting to lift my skirt and touch me.

I popped him on the upper lip and that stopped him enough for me to bolt from the car and to start running. He got out, angry and ran after me. He gained on me rapidly.

I did what my father had taught me. I stopped, I turned and, as he rushed me, I did a simple stop kick to his knee. I broke his knee. Did I mention that he was a popular football player at school? He never played football again.

While the police understood my claim of self-defense against a sexual assault, my next two years at high school were pure hell. I was ostracized at the best of times, bullied and verbally abused the rest.

I believe Dr. Ford.

I was lucky. I am a shield maiden.

Damn! You are way too awesome!

Remind me again to never....EVER....piss you off!

While you're waiting in vain for that apology, why don't you make yourself useful by getting on your knees and opening your mouth

Phtlc, you never piss me off. Trust me, you will get fair warning. I will give you a five second head start before I start shooting.

Blaming victims is like taking hipsters too seriously:  They can both handle that just fine without you amateurs butting in.

1 Round.....1 Kill.......

Yeah, anyone who says they kill on every round has only shot at paper.  You're talking about a living running collection of bones, and organs that's trying real hard not to get kilt.  This is an Action Hero fantasy.  Hunters know better than this (Even if they brag about every kill falling down as if smote by the hande of god, and every time they tell the story, the fish gets bigger.)

Nobody has EVER scored a 1:1 shot:kill ratio.

What? After everything we have been through I don't merit at least one warning shot?

I know several USMC snipers that could and would prove you wrong.
Several of which came from my Dad's unit in Vietnam.
As for me...it's sarcasam...as for shooting....don't worry if you hear my shot I wasn't aiming at you.

Yeah, I've heard this one before too.  Doesn't make it humanly possible, though.  Physics, you're claiming, anecdotaly, thirdhand, that physics is wrong, and the impossible is possible.  There's too many variables In Every Shot.  You're talking about USMC Scout-Snipers, with tens of kills under their belt, who've never had the target move, never had someone walk into the path of the bullet, never had any of the atmospheric layers between the muzzle and the target change, and never had a weird bone deflection because they're shooting at organs, they can't see, from hundreds of meters away, and ALWAYS get a kill, because they're just so damned good that nothing.  Ever went wrong?

Bullshit.  Flat out bullshit.  People aren't a collection of hit points, or machines with on/off switches.  Sniper rifles aren't magic wands, and in the real world chaos is the only constant.  Nobody's prefect.  Nobody never makes a mistake, and if you play the odds long enough, luck eventually runs out.

Not to mention the fact that 80% of the USMC Scout-Sniper schools aren't even shooting.  (I trained at one of those schools, Quantico Marine Base.  I used to live on Longboat key, with a Scout/Sniper as a roommate.)  They're getting in, and out alive, because their training is more costly than Any target, and failure is always a possibility.  You're talking about a myth, from a movie poster.

For some reason I think that one your full of crap and two you dislike the military (a lot)....did you manage to get an honorable discharge or was it less than that....??

So, according to you that Canadian Sniper that now holds the record for the worlds longest shot/kill.

No, I'm saying that impressive record (Also, you can't even remember his name, to honor him?) Is cheapened by all these blowhards with sub-minute of Arc black rifles that shoot better than they do, stealing valor, and bragging about shit They never did.  And that record ended, when he missed.  Flip a coin long enough, and eventually get Tails, no matter how many times you get heads before that, the probability is the same.  (Only with so many variables, it's more like throwing a dice-bag, and expecting them to all come up 1s, every single time.)  The best in the world is done a great dishonor by everyone who brags that they never miss, and are therefore better than the world record holder.

Medical discharge, for PTSD, and a Civilian Service Award for repairing a hydraulic drive vehicle (Can't be any more specific as to the exact vehicle) under Mortar Fire in Sarajevo so they could drive it out.

Of course, you won't believe that either, because you've already decided your moral superiority, and my personal feelings to invalidate me, too.   What have you actually accomplished?  Because if you had any actual accomplishments, you'd be bragging about them, instead of shooting better than the world record holder, who's name you can't even remember.  I don't hate the military, I hate the Government that uses them as a Big Stick against refugees.

They should try long range shooting with handicaps. Like using a Russian PU scope (4X power and friction horizontal and vertical adjustment turrrets). It gives a whole new meaning to accuracy when your MOA is only good out to 400 meters.

Well, this topic has been fully derailed by now, but check out In Range TV  Ian (From Forgotten Weapons) and Karl are developing 2 gun matches, to put the Practical back in "Practical Shooting."  They also regularly shoot against sporterized Gamer Guns with antiques.  Russel, and Ian both left handed  (With unmodified actions, ejecting out the right side, with right handed controls.)   Ian can keep up, with a Bolt Action, iron sites, left handed, against highly modified AR-15s, and quad rail accessories.  He's also competed dressed up as a drug mule, with a bale of "Mota" on his back, and a krinkov.

If you like competing with handicaps, you'll love those guys, and:

#MeToo.

Controversial Streamer Suspended From Twitch, Barred From TwitchCon After 'Harassment'

Quote
In the wake of RuneFest, multiple women accused Larsen of making sexual comments towards them and, according to one account, continuing to do so even after being told to stop. One person posted a video in which Larsen appeared to grab a woman’s face in an attempt to kiss her. A fellow streamer, Skiddler, said that his attempt to address these claims with Larsen escalated to the point of a full-on physical confrontation in which Larsen was the aggressor.

In response, Larsen agreed that a physical struggle had occurred, but claimed that Skiddler had gone after him—not the other way around. He also said harassment claims were “overblown,” that he has a “flirty” personality, and also that the woman Skiddler was sticking up for was wearing “a really, really, really revealing top,” which prompted him to comment on it. “That’s life,” Larsen said at the time. “If I drove around in a Ferrari, then people would comment on the Ferrari. That’s just the way people are. And I apologize if the woman took offense.”
