The FBI reports that 4% of all crimes reported turn out to be false and say the same percentage holds true for sexual harassment and overt physical harm against women.
So odds are roughly 96% that such accusations are true. As a lawyer, I understand the presumption of innocence and the state’s burden of proof to show
beyond a reasonable doubt that such accusations are true. But those are constitutional protections that do not apply to employers, private citizens, and the court of public opinion.
If FBI interviews disclose that *both* ex-wives accuse a man of spousal battery and rape, he is not fit to serve in the White House. In my humble opinion.
