To make millions of dollars a year for wearing a uniform and busting heads nce a week and having paid endorsements and a sweet lifestyle and even dare to compare your situation to that of people who were beaten and chained  and lived their lives without a moment of freedom makes me sick.  It is obvious no one of this generation has picked up a history book.

I suspect he's talking about Colin Kaepernick or some other NFL player.

If that's the case, then you're right:

Well, obviously they are rich and doing ok, no cnnectionnto the heritage of slavery there.

Most football players don’t get million dollar contracts. And most end up with serious health problems when they are let go.

And if they weren’t talented athletes, they would be at best middle class, and most would be in the lower economic class.

The OP has a very narrow view of the reality.

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

OK, so not all pro football players are millionaires, but the comparison to slavery, in any case, is INSANE.

You do realize oppression comes in different forms, correct?

Just because an employer doesn't have a person chained up doesn't mean they don't discriminate or treat them badly.

Perhaps you need to get out of that bubble you live in.

Did you have an opinion when Donald Sterling made his comments that eventually led to his downfall?

This is the same fellow who thinks actresses being raped isn't the same thing as the girl next door being raped.  He also acted surprised that he hasn't observed integration or interracial couples.  I suspect also he believes that mentally ill heirs in baseball caps can make America great again, and that tax cuts for the wealthy will benefit him somehow by "trickle down."

And you do realize that sometimes people use metaphors and comparisons to make a point, right?

Before free agency, many compared professional sports contracts to a form of indentured servitude.

In that case, I have, on occasion, been a slave.  Ha.  Nope.  Cannot say that without laughing, not while there are whole societies enslaved by their governments and armies elsewhere in the world.
As far as rape victims/survivors, you shits sure like to believe I am
trashing some while sympathizing with others, that I am some sort of Trump-loving asshole.   Well, you can all go to fucking hell and suck donkey dick for beer money if you are incapable of chewing the fat without showing your extremist colors.
By the way, it is a well known fact that JFK believed in trickle down economics.  Wouldn't work now.  Trickle down economics is designed to help people who want to help themselves.

No. Trickle down economics is a theory that fails in practice.

It would be helpful if you posted a source of some kind.  I'm still not sure what you are talking about.

"female domestic slavery"?

no such animal, unless you ask for it.

The year is 2017 and we live in the free world, not in bondage.

A woman with a free and active mind can do as she pleases.

If a girl chooses to get pregnant straight out of high school and put herself in the cycle of hell that is marriage, that is a bondage she chooses for herself.  Another one lost,
and the young man with her.

"a condition compared to that of a slave in respect of exhausting labor or restricted freedom," is one of the definitions according to webster, and you asked for a definition.

Again, what is the OP about?  Do you have a link to a news story? Or is this all from a dream?
