This is a really weird request.

We just finished Episode 5, and there's something about it that really bothers me, perhaps because I'm completely misunderstanding a key plot element.

If anyone has or is watching this, could you PM me (to avoid spoilers)?

I read the book, saw the movie, and I am a lawyer. But I’m not watching it again on television. So if there’s anything you want to know, from a legal standpoint, let me know.

Thanks, but it's not a legal issue, it's character development.

We. Are watching JUSTIFIED, then The Lincoln Lawyer is next.   Dan wanted to watch it earlier this year, but I kind of poo-poo'd it. I recently agreed we could watch that next.   Are you enjoying it?

Tuesday $5 movies & Free popcorn Day!

Dressed in pink, I went to see the Barbie movie earlier.  Yes, I asked Dan to wear a pink shirt and white shorts and sandals.  Both girls were decked out in pink also.

I loved the movie.  Some good adult humor that went over the younger one's head.  "What's so funny, momma?"  Shhhh.  "Daddy, what's so funny?"  shhh

Popcorn: 5 stars
Frozen Coke: 4-1/2 stars
Barbie Movie: 5 stars

Cocaine Bear (2023)

Nancy Reagan’s Review: “Just Say No.”

Then I watched Eighty for Brady (2013)

MJ’s Review: “I want his babies.”

And how is it, in your opinion.?
I didn't know it was on Prime. I've been wanting to see it.

We went to the $5 Tuesday movies yesterday to watch Disneys ELEMENTAL.  It was good.  I didn't sleep great the night before.  It was a 10:30am showing (the only showing of the day), and I was tired.  I might have fallen asleep for a bit.
The little one and her two friends that we took loved it.  5 stars from them.

Passed on the frozen coke and popcorn.   It was too early, and I need to lose weight.

Movie: 4 stars
Popcorn: n/a
Frozen Coke n/a

I’ll admit, the premise sounds funny. Drug dealers drop blocks of cocaine over a national park to be retrieved by their dealers. What could be more funny than a bear snorting cocaine?

But there are three storylines in the movie. Two kids who skip school to go to the park and are sought by their frantic parent. Then there are the drug dealers looking for the cocaine. Finally, there are the park rangers and law enforcement  who have violent encounters with the drug dealers and the coked out bear.

There is a *lot* of graphic violence, which I basically don’t like. And I think the kids should have been left out of the story entirely. But if you enjoy coke, violence, and people getting maimed and dismembered in all sorts of absolutely god-awful ways, this is your movie.

Ray Liotta’s last movie. Keri Russell playing mom roles now.  Look for Brooklynn Prince to win an Academy some day, but not for this.

Highlander (1986): A load of baloney, hope Sean Connery was suitably embarassed; I hear Highlander 2 is even worse.

The Gunfighter (1950): Very enjoyable, but anyone can guess the ending.

Have just finished watching the 4 Series of "Goliath " starring Billy Bob Thorntons ....and the final episodes of "The Lincoln Lawyer" .. can recommend both of them with maybe a preference for the former.

Australian Kissing.....just like the French - but done "Down Under"...

Watched Special Ops : Lioness.  While watching, I couldn't help but think Shiela was that big of a badass when she served.   A good show. Dan has enjoyed it also.  We're caught up to Episode 6, (I think). Total of 9 on the season (I think).

And now, we are back to watching the rest of Justifed.  I'm not as committed to it as Dan is.   I think I'm buying him a hat similar to the one Raylan wears.

We just got back from seeing HAUNTED MANSION    Not my pick to see, but all three girls wanted to o.  It was funny.  Not an Owen Wilson fan, but I liked him and his character a lot.  And of course I love Danny Devito, but who doesn't.    Lakeith Stanfield , Tiffany Hadith were good, as was Rosario Dawson.
Fun, and funny, movie.  Went in with low expectations and came out with a smile on my face.

Movie:4 stars
Popcorn: 5 stars
Frozen Coke: 5 stars

Love my old Sci-Fi flicks.  Also love Mili Avital and Milla Jovovich.

"Young Sheldon" Series 2 Finale.  Brilliant ending with a crossover to The Big Bang Theory.

Apparently it was first shown later on the night that the final episode of TBBT was shown.

I liked Young Sheldon.  We only discovered it in the past year.  We watched about 5 episodes in season 1 and Dan lost interest.  I might have to revisit it on the night s he goes to bed early.
