The most recent season of the current show which started in 1984.

(An observation: The UK and US seem to have `season' and `series' switched. I found this out from conversations about Doctor Who. In the U.S., series means the show as a whole, while season means the latest round of episodes. The U.K. uses `series' for what we call a season.)

Dog, airing on Amazon Prime.

Two former Army Rangers are paired against their will on the road trip of a lifetime. Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) and Lulu (a Belgian Malinois dog)

Damn good movie. And Channing Tatum also directed it.

I just finished the Masked Singer season premiere. 4 contestants, 3 eliminations, but they're making us wait until next week to see who the third elimination is. (That is, who is under the mask. They did reveal which character was going bye-bye.) And the two they did show are absolute living legends!

Father Stu, on Netflix. Starring Mark Wahlberg. Based on a true story. Pretty interesting person.

Just finished "Mad Men". Comparisons can be invidious but I think it's up there with  "The Sopranos", "The Wire", "Better Call Saul", "Breaking Bad" and "The West Wing"

I watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners on netflix. A great dystopian future story in the vein of Blade Runner. Though my only gripe is that the teen angst is played up too much. Also the good part is the gratuitous nudity, and tits. Also I loved the "lovable little psycho" trope. All in all a good show for those into the dark, grimy future type show.

Last night - Hocus Pocus 2 (It was AWFUL minus the scene with the witches as girls and the fact they actually had some legit Wiccan/Pagan references for about 20 seconds)

Today - Treasure Planet

I agree John. After one season under their belt you'd think they'd have the characters more developed by now.  With the extensive amount of Naval facilities and shops around them, why does so little activity take place there?

Has anyone been watching, or has already watched, Pennyworth, the story of Alfred, Batman's butler?  Playing on HBOMax. I am almost done with season 1. There are some good episodes and some so-so episodes.  The series makes Alfred a person not to be fooled with.

"Inside Man" on the BBC with Stanley Tucci and David Tennant. If you watch it make sure you see the post-credits scene of the final (4th) episode.  I always like Tucci after first seeing him in "Murder One" many years ago.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, on Prime Video.

It seems America only likes sequels, prequels, fantasy, super hero, and horror schlock.

They spent over  $60 million per episode making this thing. I really thought it would be better.

Yeah. We're watching it. Visually it's impressive. I'm thinking they're just laying down the foundation for more seasons. Too bad they can't move.of that money into plot and acting and less on flash.

I would say yes. Reality as been utter garbage lately so if I'm gonna sit down and watch something on television, I want to be brainlessly entertained.

I've been watching Pixar animations for the past week.

CSI Vegas.

Old episodes or new?
Not sure about the new seasons yet, they're ok I guess

Later seasons were good, but for me Gill Grisom made that show.

Watched Hocus Pocus 2 last night. It was....good, but not as good as the original.
