Borat.  Actually, I was watching my son’s girlfriend watch Borat, but don’t tell him.

The Spy Who Dumped Me, like 100 times, because the motel we stayed at had Cable, but not Internet.

Long story, but anyway, I have a new favorite movie.  The best part was when the psycho-assassin was looking for a couple dumb American girls, 1 blond, and 1 brunette, in downtown Prague.  She finally had to give up.

Also, I was waiting the whole movie for Mila to just bust out in Russian.  "Yeah, of course I speak Russian."

Huh!  Well, mine's Alien, so I guess they don't make the like they used to.

Forged in Fire.  Just remember, if you do a 120 layer Damascus blade in the final round, you’re going to win.

I'm binge watching "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency." (2016 and '17 series) Halfway through series 2.  It's a lot like Doctor Who, only with longer story arcs.  In the first episode, he determines that the main character is an "Assistant."  Using holistic method, of course.

Douglass Adams got his start writing for Dr. Who.

I wish someone would do "The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul."  That was my favorite storyline.

Spoiler:  The guilt monster crawling out of the discarded refrigerator was brilliant.

We were working outside and planned on sitting by the pool afterward.   As we were cleaning up our shovels and pruning tools, it started raining.   With our pool time getting washed out, we decided on the movies.  My turn to pick...

Yesterday

A quick shower without drying my hair, just a pony.   While Dan was in the shower, I was reading critic reviews.   They all blasted it.
The movie wasn't fantastic, but worth the price of admission.  I love the Beatles and I liked the movie a lot.  2 hours of enjoyable down time shoveling popcorn in my mouth and sucking on a giant frozen coke, while tapping my feet to songs I love.

And the Downton Abbey preview.  Can't wait.

My synapses are not firing correctly today.

I thought I clicked on the Tiny Tits thread, and the first thing I saw was:

We were working outside and planned on sitting by the pool afterward...

I thought, "Wow, this is going to be really yummy!

And then I read the next sentence, and realized my mistake.

Bubble --> Burst

Yeah, I have a touch-screen on my netbook, so sometimes when I'm using it in "Tablet" mode, I tap on the wrong thread by mistake, and I don't always catch the title when I reply.  It's got to be even worse for people brousing on their phones.

"To order a special dialing wand, please punch the screen now."

Still the latest adaption of  "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency," but I finished series 2.  So, I'm not still bngewatching it, but I haven't found anything new to watch yet, today...

I really like that they changed so much, honly.  I wanted "The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul," but I've read that story, a lot of times, it's probably my favorite from Douglas Adams.

Watched the Cameron Crowe film “Aloha” last night.  Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone, Bill Murray, Danny McBride, even Alec Baldwin.  Great story, good acting, funny but not silly.  Lots of warm hearted emotion, set in Hawai’i.

It bombed at the box office, and lost $17,000,000.  But I liked it, so there you go.

Pamela McClintock at The Hollywood Reporter estimated that the financial losses by the film finished to around $65 million by the time the film ended its global theatrical run, based on a budget of "$37 million-plus".

Thanks for the link.  I honestly did not even know this film existed, but my DVR records every Pacino, Cooper, Johansson, and a few other, movies.

The Art Of Racing In The Rain.

Oh.  My.   God.  I was a flippin mess watching it.
I read the book and loved it.  I read it twice in fact.
The movie did it justice.
The girls and I were all crying.

I quit reading critic reviews before going to see movies because I generally don't agree with them.   I do read them afterward.   I don't agree with them on this one either.
