LMAO, love ya guys,  Nothing wrong with karma.  I think there are a select one or two here that  post to see how much bad karma they can collect.  I dont understand it, but the universe is complicated.  and circ you rate a woo for just being you.

It has a bit of significance.  It is a name I picked/was assigned way back in high school for latin class.

Well I haven't been a member very long and the Woo/Boo discussion has been on going for a long time.

I got my first Boo today.

I would be less than truthful if I said it didn't upset me.  I abide by all the rules.  I am respectful of others.  I love to make people laugh.  I do get serious now & then and step out my "Dumb Blonde" persona.

The only thread I started "Blonde Jokes From A Blonde" has well over 500 views in the week or two since I started it.  I think that means members are enjoying it and revisit it often for new jokes.  Some have added jokes to it too!

So, I log on to find a "Boo" today.

The real problem with this so-called "excellence" measurement system is that no one knows what the "Woo" or "Boo" is for or where it came from.  It is my opinion it doesn't measure excellence or anything else for that matter.

What it DOES do is to smack "Good" members by someone who can hide behind an invisibility cloak and leave without a trace. 

Since it has been stated by GRM that he likes this crappy system and I am merely a guest, I will accept it.  Unfairness does make a great & fun site more like so many inferior sites!

I hope this rant doesn't get me kicked out.  I expect to get lots of "Boo's" for whining.  At least I enjoyed the site & the people who are members for a couple weeks :sign_thissucks: 0vomit0 :emot_sorry:

Well young lady.....if you go to the home page....down near the bottom of the page is "forum stats"......& in there you will find "Karma Stats".....& that will show you who gave a WOO or a BOO to whom & for what....& Pix.....try not to be too upset by a BOO.....cuz ya know people in here aren't going to agree with everything you do any more than people in your every day life will...... But another WOO to you from me anyhow....just cuz!

Hmm, Pixie1, there seem to be a more pixies on KB lately:

Sorry about your boo, but boos come with woos, well they do with most of us. Don't  take it personally, its only a bit of fun. As indicated in a previous reply to your post, we do now have a Karma Log which you will find at the bottom of the board next to the more stats button and inside the forum stats box. If you take a look it will tell you who has given boos and woos, even in fairy land there are good and bad fairies.
I don't give all that much excellence, woos or boos, but when I do its the post that has earned them not the member. There are other members who use it for an entirely different reason, giving woos just because they happen to like someone or dislike. This is not the way the excellence system should be used but then there are always those who can't help themselves.

I don`t use that WOO button nearly enough,  but thank god I never filled out any dirty things in the `what for` field LOL

Well I have learned lots of things since I whined here yesterday!

In posts & private messages I learned:
1)  If you get "Boo's" & have less than 250 posts, you are not permitted to see who left it or why.

2) The Administrator does NOT think it is an "Excellence" measurement and really doesn't worry about how many "Woo's" or "Boo's" a member receives

3) Since the Administrator has a rather large number of "Boo's" awarded by whomever for whatever, he doesn't worry about them & advised me not too either

So, although I know who "Boo'ed" me and why, I will take the sage advice provided & move on!  If the "Boo'er" doesn't care for me or what I may have written, I cannot change that.  I know I have lots of friends here a will continue to love all of you & will try to make you smile from time to time!
  
One last thing I learned from all of this:  I have extraterrestrial relatives with two-toed feet and NO blonde hair!
