Last night Trump  went on about terrorist attacks:

“You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden, ..."

Well I sure don't believe it, because nothing happened in Sweden.  The Swedes are puzzled too.

If you have to make shit up to prove a point you don't have much of a point do you?  And that is what fake news is. Stuff that is just made up in an attempt to convince people you have a point to make when you don't have one at all.

Alex Jones' InfoWars is claiming that NASA has established a child slave colony on Mars. Now normally I would ignore such ramblings. However, our current president thinks Infowars is credible news. Damn, do I have a headache.

Tabloids came of age as NEWS, when only a Special Prosecutor, and a Tabloid could find the Blue Dress in Monica's closet, while Mainstream Media Left could see "Nothing...", Sgt. Shultz style.

Seems not a lot has changed, in 2017, except for alternate media sources, the Mainstream Media Left just cannot find it, unless it is "Russia, Russia, Russia" or "Racist, Racist, Racist"...

It is just that the public knows the Mainstream Media Left is not Right, it's Wrong, which was demonstrated in early November 2016, despite their best efforts...

Sorry Joan, not news.  Printing personal stuff like that was no one else's business unless Monica herself complained.  She didn't, she was betrayed.

And this should never have been part of Starr's investigation.  No crime had been committed. Everyone involved were consenting adults.

The only thing Clinton did wrong was not telling Starr to fuck off and refusing to answer anything about the affair.  Instead he committed perjury.  But in my mind Starr was equally culpable for asking questions he had no right to ask about personal and not criminal matters, and knowing that Clinton could never answer them truthfully.

Perjury was the charge, and he was found guilty, but not by the Senate, who sided with Mrs. Clinton against the women preyed upon by her husband.

The Judge who found indeed that he lied to her, not to SC Starr, took Clinton's Law License, and imposed various other penalties, which I forget without looking it all up.  The point was, NO mainstream media searched and reported  when they, many of them, had the story in detail months in advance, they elected not to print it, saying nothing, mute, defensive even about President Clinton at the time, and only after a Tabloid broke the story, did any comment.

That is the comment I responded to, about Tabloids and News in the US.

And my point is that real news does not cover infidelities.  That is personal, and the sort of trash that only a tabloid would cover.  As for the perjury concerning that infidelity, it was totally understandable.
