I never really found him all that attractive before, but I saw him in a car commercial a few days ago, and then last night we were watching a rather dumb movie he was in, and one moment it just kind of hit me.

I’d never heard of Bernadette Peters and your post sent me down a fascinating rabbit hole. Welcome relief after several hours troubleshooting a web contact form that wasn’t cooperating.

What struck me about that Playboy cover was Bernadette’s breasts. They look as if they’d been augmented, and not very well. Yet Boobpedia identifies them as natural.

I found dozens of photos of her on Usenet, and over time her breasts have gone from perky to fulsome to saggy, all very normal. Nowhere could I find photos exhibiting the drooping circular profile characteristic of implants.

The puzzle deepened when I took a look at the cover of the December 1981 issue as posted on the Playboy website. Now I’m wondering if PB had, or still has, alternative covers for different markets.

I'm impressed by all your detective work Hilda, my nerdiness sent me on a search for the cover of PB.  All sites offering copies for sale have the black dress cover. Also the scribble on the botton right of the augmented breasts cover seems to read "HuntaFake" to me.

I agree. I never watched "Party of Five" or any of the "Scream" movies," and while I didn't really like "Wild Things," I strongly preferred her subtlety vs, Denise Richards's obviousness. 

I just finished Season 2 of "Lincoln Lawyer," and while she's "only" 49, yet she looks great and she exudes a "mature" sexuality.

At the same time, given the choice, I'd go with Ex-Wife #2, the tiny blonde woman in this cast photo:




It has more to do with her character than her looks, though I never minded looking at her.

She's tiny (she's listed as being 5' 2" and 125 lbs,) but her character has a huge personality. She's whip-smart and sassy, and despite her size, no one takes advantage of her.
