And the fear that is based upon his personality and his actions, is that HE thinks he was made royalty and has ascended the throne. His comments are very strikingly pointed toward the belief that HE can do the governance by himself. Without Congress.

Almost as though he can rule by decree, in fact as well as in desire.

In other words, it's based on feelings rather than anything rational.
That fear is based upon his past actions and behavior. So it is rationally based.

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Based upon 30 plus years of his behavior is a pretty good indication of his character and personality. Very few people change at that age. His behavior is one of an ego-centric, bully who thinks he is above the law, and limited by nothing. He has limited self-control and is very spiteful.

Again all observations are based upon his behavior of the last 30 plus years.

His constant abuse of Executive order.

His constant attempt to define areas of our Constitution to suit his personal agendas.

His compensatory appointment of Hillary as Secretary of State after 2004 election.

Not keeping almost all of his pre 2004 election promises, even after 8 years.

His and Clintons lies about the reasons for the attack in Benghazi.

Attacks on our 2nd amendment.

Being an apologist and cow-towing to foreign governments.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The reasons should be self explanatory.

I asked because I was interested to hear in your own words exactly what you personally disliked about his presidency and why. I could have found this list on any right-leaning site.

It's been obvious in my posts here that I leaned right in my beliefs, so why ask unless you were looking for reasons to criticize?

Most political discussions are meaningless because they're based on opinions and beliefs based on past family values and experiences in life. As most veterans, I lean to the right simply because I've learned to dislike politicians and their arrogance and interference (both left and right) in military matters. Although I understand why the military has to be under civilian control, it, more so than not, makes poor decisions about what they don't understand and ties up crucial resources and decisions that best be left to the military. In the past, poorer decisions have came from the more arrogant left than the right. Accordingly, I lean to the right. That does not necessarily put me into the Republican camp. It simply means I disagree with the left more than I do the right, particularly in the recent election.

And as a result you support someone who is so very arrogant in himself as to resist listening to any expert council. Trump has repeatedly shown that he understands the military much less than Clinton.

May I remind you that it was the Bush administration that left two divisions floating in the Mediterraining at the beginning of the Iraq war, because they couldn't understand that Turkey would not let them land and travel trough their territory?

And that they couldn't comprehend that the Iraqis would consider us an invader and resist on an irregular mode because of nationalistic fervor? Or that they would disregard the Chairmann of the Joint Chiefs when he said it would take twice to three times the force and time to subdue the Iraqis. I don't see trump having better people in his cabinet than the hacks who served George W.

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

If Obama and Clinton hasn't driven your Father to an early grave Julie, I don't thing he has anything to worry about from Trump. LOL
'

What specific things has Obama done in the last 8 years that bother you and for what reason do they bother you?

LOL!

And the election promises already keep tumbling one after another in a matter of days.

1) Now only parts of Obamacare will be repealed.

2) Trump said first thing he would do is to appoint a special prosecutor to go after Hillary, now says other things come first.

3) Build a wall all along the Mexican Border? Now all of a sudden it will be partly fenced?  Mind you, the border is already fenced, and walls along critical portions were built under under Bill Clinton.

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37969112

Yeah, because anyone with a brain thought he'd ever turn the tap of cheap labor off to his friends. No surprise the wall ain't happening. No deportation, no punishment for being here illegally. Yeah, what a twist.

Knew he wouldn't do anything to Shrillary. When she cancelled election celebrations days in advance I knew a deal had been made.

It's a joke already as expected.

.
cancelling a fireworks display when it was known from polls that the race was close only indicates that they were being responsible with their funds.

Your statement is a conspiracy theory bugaboo, which demonstrates your inability to distinguish reality from rumor.

LOL Since when is spending 1.1 billion (last figure I heard) for a position that will net an income of ~1.6 million being financially responsible?

I sat next to a girl in school I didn't like, we were always making snippy comments to each other.   The teacher was sick of us bickering.    She'd walk over to us and say, "There is an invisible wall between you two.   You can't hear through it, you can't speak through it.  So don't bother saying anything more to each other."

I don't know what made me think about that.

You might not know this, but I have a thing for Tom Brady (and Bill Clinton)

He now wants to give them top secret clearance.

Can't, Top Secret Clearances are based on a need to know (especially Military Clearances).  His kids are not in the Military nor are they in the Need to know category, in other words they are just plain kids whose dad is the president, all the kids are is just that...kids. (This is according to my Dad).

Love,
Liz

There is a federal law against depotism. So Trump can't give them jobs in government. If he doesn't put all of his assets in a blind trust then he will probably face more intense suspicion of wrong doing than Bill Clinton did for his assets.

The NC KKK is holding some big-ass shindig due to Trump's success.  I'm sure Trump will repeat "KKK who?  Never heard of 'em."  like he did earlier in the race.

We have liberal deniers crying "Not my president!!".  Imagine the donnybrook if those in-bred idiot rednecks (Trump supporters) hadn't gotten THEIR way.  Trump had slyly encouraged riots during the run-up... do ya think the country would be any LESS calm today if he'd lost?

Remember the Golden Rule: you do me, and I\'ll do you (paraphrased)

Ask Hillary about the KKK. I'm sure she won't remember who her mentor Robert Byrd hung around with.

You're not understanding me. I wanted to understand what you personally found questionable or objectionable about his presidency. Not the list your news source of choice has given you, but your own thoughts and feelings on it. I'm curious because Obama seems to have done very well in his time as president from my perspective. I can understand why some disagree with his politics but I don't understand why he is spoken of with such disdain in some circles.

Politics is all opinions, beliefs, values and principles. It is not an exact science. If you consider those things meaningless, then you must consider all political conversations meaningless.

I don't know if it's true that there are more right-leaning veterans than left-leaning, but if it is my guess would be that that has more to do with the kind of people attracted to a career in the military than a reaction to the decisions of politicians on the left. As you alluded to yourself, it's not like the right have a fantastic record either.

I do regard political discussions meaningless, but for only two of the reasons you mention. Opinions and beliefs. Only values and principles mean anything.Opinions and beliefs are in continual flux from input we take in daily. Values and principles should never be.

Most military and ex military personnel tend to be Republicans in the US. Goggle it.

I stated the objections I had for disliking Obama policy's. I'm not writing a dissertation to explain them. I did not say the left was at fault for military personal choosing the Republican as their choice. I said the government as a whole, both right and left.

"To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth."

There are reports surfacing thar seem to indicate that Trump didn't understand the scope of his duties as President, and that his aides were totally unaware that the entire White House political and administrative staff has to be replaced.

Talk about amatuerish and unqualified. I hope this isn't going to be a the way they are going to be doing things.
