Was never even close. Prime Time in Boulder. Shedeur Sanders 393 yards passing, 2 TD’s.

Baylor lost to Utah. Starting 0-2. Fucking Bible thumping rapists.

None of these games are any good.  Michiganl blow out, MSU blowout.  Boring.  Dan is all giddy that the state schools are winning.   Boring.  I like good matchups.
Ohio State, blowout !

Hope the Bama v Tex game is good tonight.

The Pac-12 was 17-0 so far this season, until it got dark Saturday.

Late games saw Arizona, Arizona State, Cal and Stanford all lose (Stanford did lose to another Pac-12 school, USC).

A tip of a big old Stetson to Texas, going into Tuscaloosa and beating Alabama.

After upsetting Wisconsin, I think Washington State might surprise a few teams this year.

After upsetting Wisconsin, I think Washington State might surprise a few teams this year.

Washington State and Oregon State “surprised” everybody by filing a lawsuit on Friday, requesting an injunction against the entire PAC-12, and seeking a judicial declaration that they are the only two schools remaining in the PAC-12, and the only two entitled to make decisions about distribution of assets and the future of the division. The existing bylaws provide that any school that has declared it is leaving, is no longer entitled to a seat on the Board of Directors nor a vote concerning division matters. 10 schools have done that.

Eight of the Pac-12 teams are in the top 25 this week for the first time ever, although only two are in the top 10.

The WSU/OSU lawsuit will be interesting. The conference has millions in assets and according to the bylaws, they are the only two schools that have voting privileges since all the others have declared they are leaving.

I have to admit I was shocked at how fast it all fell apart once USC/UCLA made the initial announcement.

The conference only dates back to 1915, and only had 6 or 8 teams for many years, but the Pac-12 (in all it past iterations) has more NCAA national championships than any other conference if you include all sanctioned sports.

Hence, the claim of being the "Conference of Champions". Seems pretty clear to me that in the 21st century, money is more important than winning championships.

If anyone is interested, the Big-10 was formed in 1896. Michigan was one of the original members. Ohio State was not.

Michigan is not a #2 team.  Top 10, yes.  But not 2, or 5 or 7.  They will be exposed.
Good games this weekend.

I pretty much count on Texas to break my heart. But after going five and 0, I did not expect them to do it today in this manner. So many opportunities to win. So many opportunities to clinch. Then to lose on a final drive. So typical. I’m gonna be hurting the rest of the weekend.

We just got in from a friends house where about 20 people watched the game.   One minute it was 21-10, I left the room.  When I came back it was about 41-10.  I don't know what happened there.
I hate seeing scores like that.  Put in the 3rd string if you have to.  Not cool.

almost 3:00, need some sleep.

Those days are long gone. With CFP, wagering against the line, and NIL compensation for players, everything is petal to the metal now. No room for being “a good sport” when so many have a financial interest in the outcome. They’ll run a score up to 100 points soon (I wager).

Well, I was informed they did put in the 2nd string pretty early.  So, that's better.

Colorado blew its largest lead in school history. Stanford staged its greatest come back in school history. Double overtime last night. I didn’t get to bed until 2 AM. 46-43 Stanford. Ugh.

No Longhorns football this weekend! No Dallas Cowboys football this weekend! And both my high school teams won last night. I have no shits left to give. Sports wise.

Horns are looking very sucky against Cougar High. Tied 24 all in the 4th.
