I think TCU finally showed everyone why they were consistently predicted to lose this season. 65-7. Has to be a record.

I forgot the game was on so I turned it on with a couple minutes left.  As son as I saw the score, I laughed loud enough to wake up everyone on the house.  Just, wow.

All that hype and I fell asleep before the first quarter was over. What a boring game to watch.

I wonder if fans of the Oregon Ducks are gloating. "Hah, they only beat us 49-3!"

One final thought. With as much anti-smoking rhetoric as we see, is a victory cigar still socially acceptable?

You win back-to-back national championships, and I think you get a pass on the cigar. They don’t give a shit. They shouldn’t have to.

I walked out of the room and it was 10-7. M and I were hemming a dress for a wedding we have this weekend.
20 minutes later, I come back downstairs and Dan has turned the game off.  I asked why.  "It's 38-7, it's over. Just glad it's not Michigan being routed."

Okay then.

If I win a nat'l championship, I'm lighting up a cigar.

Well it’s all over for me now, except Dallas losing to Tampa Bay on Monday. Another season of dashed expectations and ruined hopes. LOL.

The UT orange-white scrimmage was yesterday. Huge crowds. Beautiful day. Sarkisian said second-year quarterback Quinn Ewers solidified his status as the starter. Don’t buy it. I predict  freshman Arch Manning will be put in to win at Alabama or during the Oklahoma game. Fans want Manning.

A national championship poll between the two most "hated" fanbases in college football has been set.

Per CFB Home on Twitter, the championship will be between Texas fans and Tennessee fans.

How is Tennessee one of the most hated fan bases when the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Florida and Notre Dame exist?

Nick Saban is the devil. So hating Alabama is sort of like hating Satan.

;D That's funny because I thought of the same four schools when I first read that. Oklahoma was on my list too.

Holy fuck yeah yeah! Season opener is here! This is been a long dry summer. I need some serious college ball. If you hear the screaming, it’s not me committing murder, it’s just me watching college football on the television. And go fucking Coach Prime. I just fucking hope he kicks the teeth out of all the PAC-12. 🏈🏈🏈

#17 TCU 42 - Colorado 45

This was undoubtedly the most exciting season opener I have ever watched. 87 points of scoring.

You have to understand TCU was national runner up last year. Colorado was 1–11. Then CU hired Deion Sanders a.k.a. Coach Prime.

The more amazing backstory is that Coach Prime interviewed for the TCU head coaching position and was told that he didn’t have enough experience for the job. Also TCU‘s now offensive coordinator totally dissed Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur Sanders while they were both at FSU. Shedeur left the FSU program as a result.

Young Sanders threw for 510 yards with four touchdowns, the game-winner a 46-yard catch-and-run by freshman Dylan Edwards with 4:25 left, and the Buffaloes pulled off an opening shocker with a 45-42 win Saturday over 17th-ranked TCU, last year's national runner-up.

Amazing. Big bowl of karma served up warm.

“I Believe.”

Dion also purged the Colorado team and wanted shed of any player or coach that was satisfied with said 1-11 record. Great start

I think he has completely turned college football on its head. Because, if he can come in and take a completely losing team and turn them into champions, like he did at Jackson State, then it means it can be done. And if it can be done, athletic directors and the fans are going to demand that it be done. He’s going to be a recruiting magnet. The top talent are all going to put CU on their list of places to look at.

And then there were the 81-7 type games. I think Saturday set a record for the most college football teams scoring 65 points or more on a single day.

I'm supposed to hate your coach Prime. I have no idea why, but in my family he is a four letter word. Gotta a Packer fan thing.

He’s really not “our coach.” You can’t argue with success. He was one hell of a Dallas Cowboy.

And Prime has some circulatory problems that led to the amputation of two toes over the summer. He was in a great deal of pain yesterday, but ran onto the field with the team, and stood on the sidelines for the entire game. He received medical attention in the locker room afterwards.

This is a man that does not know the meaning of the word quit.

Tremendous respect.

Really enjoyed watching Duke kick Clemson’s ass last night. So many great upsets in week 1.
