Came across a group of teenage boys that I presume were playing. I wasn't about to change my line on the sidewalk so I stopped. One of the yutz's came within 1/2 a step before he looked up and just avoided running into me.

Afterwords, I thought that I should have lifted my knee and brace my foot against my other knee to see if he would have bagged himself.  ;D

That is all.

You have idea how true that video is about Pokémon Go Players.
I have seen groups of kids (5-10) out together looking for the game monsters.
The good thing is that they are out in groups so they are relatively safe from predators, the other thing is that they are outside getting some exercise. but the bad thing is that they are (both individuals and groups) careless about what they are doing and where they are doing it.

Love,
Liz

So, the game has exploded over the last two weeks with 17 million players.

Millions of parents will soon explode when they see their next bill.    Data usage is very big using the Pokemon Go app.

We were out today and once again bumped into some friends.   The kids continued with their game as one of the moms told me her kids are limited to two hours a day.   They have 12 GB of data on their plan and the kids had 8 GB each.    4 GB's over.   At $15/GB.

I got home and checked my nieces phone.    Historically she uses about 1GB per month.   She's at 4GB half a month in.      So, she's on pace for 8GB.   Makes sense because she doesn't play as much as her friends.

Verizon & AT&T are going to be loving this new app.    $$$

I still have the old unlimited plan. As soon as I saw that they were getting rid of it I knew that data had become the cash cow. Phone minutes and texting is of little concern to the phone companies now. As a result I don't upgrade through them anymore.  I've been buying my phones outright now for around 5 years.

My daughter has unlimited data, so does my wife's.

Why did we get little girls phones with unlimited data?

Just checked.  He's run through 5.5 Gb halfway into the month.  LOL.

Who's fault is that?

Success story:
I was at a party yesterday and the Pokemon subject came up.   One of the parents at the table said how much she was hating the game.    Another parent chimed right in and told the story of her overweight son who is in the 7th grade>   He has lost 13 pounds since the game came out.    She said he's not sitting around the house playing video games, which would always lead to him sneaking snacks in the basement and eating junk.   So, take away those snacks, get him out walking and viola.   She also added how much better he feels, how he has regained a bit of confidence and excitement because of his lost weight.    When he and the friends are going out, she now packs some fruit in a backpack with some water.   Twice a week she gives him a couple of dollars and they get a slurpee at 7-11.

Some good has come of it.

I put a sign of "No trespassing for pokemon" up. Second time I caught someone in my yard.

I was in downtown San Antonio yesterday, near Interstate 37, with my son.  Yes, there were Pokemon there also.  There will be a lawsuit, I promise you, when some kid gets killed trying to catch a Pokemon in a wildly inappropriate location.

Headline: Young Billy Bob Mcgee was killed today as he wandered into a nuclear weapons test range while searching for an extremely rare "dumbfuckichu" pokemon. His corpse will be too radioactive to bury for another five thousand years. The parents are suing for an unspecified amount, but young Billy Bob's father was quoted as saying "It'll be a shit lot".

Took the tribe to the mall today. Some idiot kid, no doubt hunting a rare fuckémon, almost tripped right into a huge puddle of rain water.

Fucking zombies.

One of our geniuses parked where he wasn't supposed to and got a violation sticker.

The person leaving it on his driver-side window went the extra mile (he was bored).  :emot_laughing:
